TrueBlue72 0
I will always wonder what damage to a defense Jacobs could have done as a TE in Borges offense.
AUloggerhead 2,229
Did you see his stats in the loss to Northern Ill the previous week? 13 rushes for 41 yds; longest run 8 yds; 0 TDs. I'll bet he could have learned to like playing TE under Borges.
hanselman03 0
he wanted to play and be a star right away as a tailback. they wanted him to play LB because he has the size and speed to be an awesome one.

I'll bet he could have learned to like playing TE under Borges. I think I've seen old meatloaf run for more yards than that... He would have been MUCH better served to stick around and play defense and special teams for Auburn as a senior. I'll bet he would have gotten more noteriety for the NFL draft as well. Just remember the two kickoffs to Vanderbilt last year. "The Wedgebuster!"
AU4Ever 0
And I still feel sorry for that little DB from Western Kentucky he pancaked last year on his TD run.

LegalEagle 22
BJ is a fine player who underestimated his ability to put CW and/or RB on the bench. He should never have come to AU. I'm glad he did, and I wish he had stayed. Follow your dreams young man. Good luck and best wishes. War Eagle!
