Can we all agree Oats is doing something right?  The guy replaced his entire staff who all left for HC spots in the offseason.  He only returned 27% of their minutes played (2 PLAYERS returned), he's working with basically a new roster.  There were a lot of rival fans smirking and poking fun of Oats offensive philosophy and him totally ignoring defense.  Looks like that team found a defense once they hit the tourney. 

There were a lot of rival fans laughing & poking fun at bama's early season losses, now it seems to have made them battle-tested and getting exposure & experience in live game action against the likes Purdue, Clemson, Arizona, Creighton even though they were close losses may have helped them find their way to their 1st ever F4.  

 

I mean yeah, I guess it works when you're hitting your 3's.

Tennessee player who shoots 60% from the line knocks down both to secure the win. And our players who shoot 90% and 80% choke.

In hindsight I guess we were just a mediocre team beating other mediocre SEC teams all year. 

Our team mojo took a 180 as soon as CBM was ejected. We never looked the same after that. 

What an epic failure by just about every player. Especially CBM

So Calipari pulls Ivisic when he should have used that brutal pick to fire up the team (Bruce Pearl would have loved that pick).  Then Reeves fouls himself out on a stupid decision.  They looked like a bunch of talented players who had never been on a court together.  Great recruiting but BAD, BAD COACHING.

He essentially just throws uber talented kids on a court together and tells them to go win.  I think it's as simple as that.

I guarantee you the awkward fall of the player led to the foul call.
