And he's healthy and still only completing 50% of his passes in the scrimmages

And yet he is pushing Thorne hard and is the #2 QB. You'll soil your little boy britches when he starts some games this year.

Did Robby not injure his shoulder as well. Even though Thorne has been named the starters it seems the deciding factor is game experience. If we are taking what Coach Freeze is saying for face value Robby has been more productive in the scrimmages. Guess we shall see how it plays out.

Robby's shoulder was so bad last season that he couldn't sleep well. People, for some reason, don't understand what he went through last seaosn.

I hope he handles it right and he did yesterday    The fact that CHF keeps referencing this statement in regards to Robby is a little concerning. He stated it twice in the press conference yesterday. I like how straightforward CHF is. Hopefully, Robby can handle this situation because who knows how the season is going to play out. Hugh had to play 4 QBs last year at Liberty.

This says less about concern for Robbie and more about the culture of today's society. The kids today want the easiest way to playing time and I can't blame them. Coaches have been leaving for decades and now we want the QB to be loyal. I want Robbie to stay but he has to do what's best for him.

  4. People, get used to this new world of college sports. There will be more players leaving! Players that you are/were excited about seeing play for the Orange and Blue. I guess they have to do what is best for them but as an Auburn fan, I hate to see these things happening. I wish the young man the best!

Robbie is always hurt when things are going bad for him. Robbie needs a sports psychologist. Lots of talent but not great attitude.

Dude's shoulder was so bad last season that he could not sleep yet you make such an asinine comment. You have no idea what these guys go through, Mr. Couch Potato.

Auburn head coach Hugh Freeze told reporters Monday that wide receiver Malcolm Johnson Jr and offensive lineman Tate Johnson will miss the remaining spring football practices with injuries.

Johnson was Auburn’s starting center for four games last season under former head coach Bryan Harsin. He missed the rest of the year after having elbow surgery.

Freeze said that Johnson has a dislocated elbow and will be out for the rest of spring football. Johnson was getting first-team reps at left guard.

Freeze said Johnson Jr suffered a collarbone injury and expected the former four-star receiver to be back in June to prepare for fall camp. Auburn will have it’s seventh spring practice on Monday at the Woltosz Football Performance Center on Campus. The Tigers will play the A-Day game on Saturday, April 8, with kickoff set for 1 p.m. at Jordan-Hare Stadium. Tickets are $10 and the game will air on SEC Network+/ESPN+.

Tate seems like he can't catch a break. I hope he can get better soon.

There's not one throw on that video that's a throw that Marshall can't make. It's wild to say because it seems some don't remember how GREAT Nick was. And apparently don't remember his arm talent. Nick may have the strongest arm of all QB's to ever play here.

But imo to say a QB that many aren't even sure can be a QB will be as great or better than one of the best QB's that has ever played here is wild.

That's like me saying Dylan Cardwell will be as good or better than Charles Barkley. Doesn't make sense really

Nick never made throws like the one's Robbie made against UGA, LSU and Bama. Those three are elite throws that not every QB can make. Again, Robbie is not a finished product but the potential is there.
