My gut says Michigan but I’m pulling for Washington. Watching this college game day I had forgotten about the Walker Hays guy. I thought that Applebees song was the worst thing I’d ever heard but he had two others at least as bad. I don’t think I’ve ever heard another performer whose songs make me angry. 

He starts but he averages fewer minutes than CBM and TD. He’s clearly out there for his defense and physicality. I don’t have any issue with his playing time I just wish he would stop shooting 3’s. 

I kind of like the edge CBM has to him. He was clearly in the head of the Arky players. Bruce seems to be giving him a long leash keeping him in there after the technical. It helps that he can flat out ball. 

Can’t say I had us winning by 30+ in Bud Walton but I’ll take it.

Nice ending the day watching a well coached, well prepared Auburn team.

There’s been a level of ineptitude the past few years that I’ve just never really seen at the college level. The inability to complete a forward pass. It makes no sense to me that the same team that gave Alabama and GA more than they wanted also got blown out at home by New Mexico State and embarrassed by Marylands back ups. It just seems like the kind of thing that only happens at Auburn. 

I’m kinda curious what Thorne would look like with time to throw and open receivers who catch passes that hit them in the hands. He doesn’t seem to be the kind of QB that can overcome a bad line and awful receivers.

It had that feel didn’t it? Like you chose the aerial camera option with no commentary but it was the Huntsville infomercial/interview feed with a little snippets of gameplay.

I remember the 3 Dave’s. I don’t remember ever seeing the majority of a game in a split screen with random interviews going the whole time. 

This is the weirdest broadcast I’ve ever seen.

Any scenario that removes Gary Danielson from the booth is a net positive.

I remember once when I was a student, we were playing Tennessee, and this one guy had these tall white socks, and every time he got the ball, the crowd would chant "SOCKS!". 🤣

Our crowd seems particularly relentless with that chant. I remember a game last year where a guy had one early in the game and heard about it the entire rest of the game. He came out after the half probably thinking people had forgotten..

I never really understood the conference loyalty thing. The teams I dislike the most tend to be conference rivals and I enjoy watching them lose. 

It’s really incredible. That’s the kinda thing that I feel like ONLY ever happens to Auburn and it doesn’t matter who is coaching.

Sums it up. They were the better, more physical team which was surprising. They didn’t even play that well and still blew us out at home. No excuses. Just have to get better.

They’ve got that guard that went off on Kentucky and helped St. Peter’s to the elite 8 a couple years ago.
