The SEC has 9 official bowl tie-ins and two unaffiliated bowl tie-ins for 13 bowl eligible teams. With Georgia a lock for the CFP, that leaves 12 teams for 11 bowls. ESPN will be the ultimate arbiter of Auburn's bowl destination.
