Ok what happens if the ASU QB Jaden Rashada signs with AU?  I wonder if he is willing to back up PT then compete for the starting job as a sophomore?

K.Lambert Smith is looking for WR1 NIL payout.  He would be at 2/3WR type WR for us. Providing depth and experience.  I doubt Auburn will put out WR1 (Cam Coleman) type NIL for this guy.  I'm sure CHF has said "here's what we can do for you (take it or leave it).

With decent OL and 4-5 star QB CHF will find a RB or 2 to help Cobb out.

 This is all NIL positioning.  We will see if CHF calls his bluff.  No way his family would want to travel to PSU for equal or close to equal NIL.
 

 This will be interesting to see how this plays out.  The kid may end up regretting his commitment to PSU if AU moves on and gets someone else to take his spot.  CHF did not sign a RB in the 2024 class for a reason.

I figured he’d commit to PSU. It keeps AU in the loop.  He’s pulling a “cam Colman” type deal when he committed to Tam.

Towns came here as a kicker because of our NFL history with kickers. He knows what’s in front of him and will redshirt.  We are good at Kicker for the next 5 years!

The only way to regulate this is to make the athletes employees of the university and sign a 1-2 year contract.

Its going to take schools to make these athletes employees of the university and sign 1-2 year contracts in order to get this under control.

I guess the Ryan williams nil deal is too big for him to waver on his commitment.  It sounds like they opened up the bank to get him to re-commit.

Reported this afternoon - he’s met with them twice now.   Of course he could be milking this to the max to get a heck of a pay raise out of Michigan.  I know if I were Michigan I’d do everything possible to keep him because if he leaves it would set back that program back big time.  I’m sure the PTB at UM are watching what is going on at bammer now.
