  1. What most dont know is that Freddie's defense is superb. I can't wait to see his slick D. Plus, the Braves will be on ESPN at 12 central time
  2. He's lucky he didn't have to face me. He wouldn't have touched me. I also wouldn't have purposefully thrown him a strike
  3. nice article! thanks for sharing westy
  4. Heyward will again be an all-star this year. he is a stellar player. Prado, McCann, Jurrjens, and Moylan all lost double digit amount of pounds over the offseason. I really can't wait for the season to start!
  5. Ugh, that warning made me go back and look. THANKS A LOT!! :banghead:
  6. Yeah he really would be a great guy to have in the clubhouse and as a hitting coach. He seems to think he will be back for the start of the season Oh, here is an interesting read on Brooksie http://www.ajc.com/sports/atlanta-braves/conrads-long-road-back-830603.html
  7. I don't think so. I think if we have any problems with Chipper then Prado will be our 3rd baseman and we might look for another leftfielder. I would love to have Michael Young. He is a solid all around player, but an expensive emergency backup
  8. yeah we are too cheap and it is killing me!
  9. Any chance Heyward wants to come play LB or WR?
  10. Ok, i fixed my post. i know i put that link in there last night.
  11. Jason Heyward is coming to Bham and Huddy is coming to Auburn next week Here is the link that i thought i had put up-->> http://mlb.mlb.com/atl/community/caravan.jsp?loc=sched
  12. he's a guy everyone wants on their team. a team player and he is clutch. also, great in the clubhouse
  13. well freeman is our guy. d-lee is still an every day player. the braves feel that freeman is ready to be an every day guy too. he has a solid glove and hit well in AAA, but we do need a backup right handed 1B
  14. Kimbrel is your hometown boy right? Its good to see players from our state make it to the show.Kimbrel played college ball the same place I did Wallace State (Hanceville) I hope he gets the closer's spot.If he can get a little better control,he will be an all-star type closer, his stuff is sick. Yeah he's the hometown hero that nobody knows about. I was one of the few that recognized him when he walked up. my friend caught him at wallace for his tryout. he said he couldnt catch the ball haha I wonder what year Craig was that year. Until he hurt his ankle, he was only throwing high 80's low 90's. Then he focused on his mechanics when he was hurt and could only throw from his knees and that built up his core strength and basically "taught" him how to throw hard. im thinking he had just graduated and was just throwing for the heck of it during the fall, but my friend said one ball hit him in the chest haha. he also faced the the guy tyler stovall in a summer league game and said he couldnt touch him, and my friend made all state 2 years in a row (would have had 3 but he had tommy john our senior season)

  16. I read that Prado is moving to left and freeman will be our every day guy
  17. Yeah that's not very smart. Prado is an every day guy
  18. I think Uggla will be in left, but Prado can play left as well. Played left in the Arizona Fall League.
  19. we will prolly be able to re-sign him
  20. If uggla does what he did last year then we will be great. Buster olney said that it's a perfect move for the braves
  21. You beat me to it! I kinda like this move. Dan is so Uggly!!
