He looked good in it at the end of last season too . Looks like the Braves have the same problem as last year. Can't buy a hit with runners on. Just had Pastornicky on 3rd with one out. Nothing comes of it. I forgot as much of last season as I could.

Glad to see Diaz back in a Braves uniform.

I'd say he was average to above average in the prime of his career but I wouldn't even touch the word "average" now. He does know how to pitch but he's nothing close to what he used to be and I'd rather use his roster spot to bring up Teheran.

You can't call either of them average.. Both Hernandez and Durbin are far below average. I remember Livan pitching for Washington last year and SportsCenter was making fun of him because he was topping out at 83mph.

To be honest I don't know a lot about either player. It actually seemed like both teams were exchanging very good prospects. If anything though, I'd say the Braves have a slight edge given that Francisco has a little MLB experience and performed well during that time. But, again, I'm not familiar with Hoover or Francisco. Here's what we got: Francisco is lazy, injury prone, overweight, error prone, and strikeout prone. But he does have a power swing. Here's what we gave up: Terrible deal.

The deal for Juan Francisco might be one of the most one-sided trades I've seen the Braves make.. terrible trade.

I can't remember a championship team that played an entire season with a question mark at SS. Why can't Braves management make a move for someone at that position? It's beyond frustrating.

We'd probably be better off but you really don't know. So many variables go along with that. I'm glad we kept him because the franchise owes it to him. He's done so much for ATL baseball that he deserves to end his career as a Brave. Just imagine the backlash we would've received for trading him away.
