We'll find our stride when McCann gets back. As long as we're within 3.0 in the Wild Care race and everyone is healthy come mid to late August we'll win the WC.

Let's hope we can hold the WildCard. There's no chance of catching the Phillies right now. They're getting hotter and hotter as the year goes along.

You'll have to make it to one golf. You'd just have a blast.. Pitching is a problem but I think it will hold up. The bullpen has been good so if the starting pitching can just hold them to less than 3 than a lot of games will be won down the stretch.

Of course right when I say that they won't sign anything they grab Bourn. Exactly what the Braves weren't looking for, a left handed hitter that doesn't have any pop. He'll fit in somewhere though. Hopefully it'll be a good change because we haven't had an above average CF since Jones was in his prime.

Went to the afternoon game today at Yankee Stadium!! Man oh man what a ballpark. I loved it and wanted to return for the nightcap against Baltimore. Colon battled through 5 and Swisher went deep. Such a fun atmosphere but having grown up around the Braves I had to compare the two.. I'd say the atmosphere is about the same but the stadium definitely goes to NY. Such an awesome time and I'll be following the Yanks much closer than I have been.

Didn't get to watch the game tonight or last night but from the highlights and the box scores it looks like we took care of business fairly easily. Marlins shut down their season already? Haha but the closer we're coming to the deadline it doesn't look like we're gonna make a move.

I read Jayson Stark's article on the Braves need for an outfield bat but he's convinced me that a deal won't be done. There's not a single outfield bat on the market that really fits what we're looking for and Wren realizes that. (CF righty bat with moderate power). Upton is an option but he's too inconsistent.

I could see a deal being made in August with waivers when some teams drop out of their races but right now there's nothing out there for the Braves.

That was the best game I've watched. Can't believed I watched all of it either. It had me hooked from the get-go. BTW I'm not convinced that he tagged him.. In au21tigers picture you can see the shadow of the glove on Lugo's pants so clearly he isn't being tagged in that picture.

I read that we have scouted Tyler Clippard of the Nats some. If we get him and thats our only major move, then I'm ok

Heard the same thing but I'm not sure why the Nat's would trade him when his only making $400,000/yr and his 27 years old. The Braves would not give much in prospects for him. Maybe I'm missing something??????

If Moylan comes back as strong as he was before then I agree and say we hold off. But another arm would never hurt. There's a big market for relievers right now so I don't believe we'd have to give up much to get an arm to upgrade the pen. I can't live watching Proctor/Sherrill struggle trying to get the game to Venters/Kimbrel.

We need to make a bang in the trade market.. We need someone reliable in the bullpen that's not named Venters or Kimbrel.

I think they changed it to make it fair no matter where the game is played now that the All-Star Game decides who gets homefield in the World Series.

After the way they applauded Cox after the last game last year, it will take more than JJ getting snubbed for me to start disliking the Giants.  That was one of the classiest things I've ever seen a baseball team do.

Every other baseball team in the country would've done the same.

MLB Network is pretty much saying Hanson is a lock for the NL team now b/c of pitchers throwing on that Sunday like Fish said. So no worries he'll be on the team.
