Great player and the nicest guy you could meet ( off the football field ). Rest in peace Mike

You got that right. I met him once and you would never have guessed he was a stud football player. R.I.P. Mike Kolen

One of my keys to the game,

    play smart and disciplined.
    we didn’t.

Another warning was Pearls crying about the seed and location.

Most teams don’t care and cherish the chance to even be in the thing.

Auburn for some reason thought we deserved some special treatment.

A wasted year and would have been better to not even have made it, cause

    we sure didn’t show up

Once again a big game where the players believed everything written about them. And you were right, we didn't show up.

Got outscored 20-8 to close out the game. We totally wilted come crunch time to frickin Yale. Not that I wanna make my myself feel any worse than I already do lol.

we pissed away an 8 point lead to begin the second half  and later the ten point lead. But les not forget throwing the ball away three straight times down the the court. Yeah buddy we were ready to play...badly. :nopityA:

cbm has been a liability for a while and today it bit AU on the ass. He’s 90% of the reason AU lost. He’s a good player,  but has been enabled to act the way he does by the staff.

what got him kicked out of the game  shows shy he has played for so many schools. JMO.

Yep couldn’t believe it but boy does Sears get away with a lot. Running over guys and hooks  right in front of the refs smh

He also is required to dribble only if he feels like it.

Finally about to get real for them. We really need for them to lose at least 2 of those games.

We need to quit worrying about what they do and worry more about what we do.

In our other losses, we may have come up short, but were at least in the game with a chance to win at the end. Against teams much better than UF. Yesterday was just a piss poor effort all the way around. We just mailed it in.

I had a feeling something like that would happen. We beat bama like a red headed step child with freckles. then we decided to take a step back and take a look at our work.

Kinda reminds me of when Chizik was here and our players were getting shot and killed and then we had a WR that was killed at a party when Gus was head coach. Just really sad and shows that no school is immune to this stuff no matter how you try to spin it.

Correct me if I'm wrong but with Chizik didn't the incident involving players robbing a house happen shortly after AU had won the National Championship.? :dunno:

Here we go just as I predicted. The media and/or social media will spin anything about Auburn in a negative light and our Forum will propogate bad news like a disease.

I can assure you jox won't put out anything and I mean anything on it unless it's bad.

    No meltdown all is good

It's not just the fact we are losing two good coaches but we are also losing two damn good recruiters. I am really surprised Caddy just up and pulled out.

Get 10 5 star WRS, if you don’t have a quality qb and Oline to protect it means nothing. On paper this would look great and cool that Williams came to AU, but reality is qb and oline is the need. He can’t catch a ball from a qb who’s on his ass all day because the line can’t block.

Auburn outside was just non-existent. The inside was really tough, but HA, KD popped in 14 points!

Overall, an ugly game, but we can expect more ugly games going forward in SEC play.

    WDE!

    .

I remember not too long ago when we got drubbed in the ugly games.

He wasn’t ready then. He needed to mature to the point where he believed he is always one of the best players in the court. He finally has allowed himself to believe. His talent has always been there. His confidence has not.
I love his game. And it doesn’t even seem to be fully developed yet.

I agree with everything you said

This is completely fair. The NM St and Maryland games were embarrassing. They looked unprepared. The 4th and 31 defense, with rushing only 2, was the worst play I’ve ever witnessed. If he’s not looking to upgrade the QB position, he should be held accountable for what happens at QB next year.

They didn't rush 2 they had 2 just kind of stand there and do next to nothing about applying pressure and we all know the rest of the story. This staff as well as coaches to come together and have a come to Jesus meeting.

Hard to get too excited this far out.  IF Auburn can get its act together and avoid fiascos like 2023's NMSU and MD games, they may have a chance at holding on to 2025/2026 recruits.  If not, it's hard for me to believe these guys will stick with us when the 'elite' programs will be after them.

If he doesn't get everyone on the same page it may be hard to get the 24 recruits to stick around.

  16. Bottom line, yeah, freeze inherited a team that was vastly short of sec caliber talent. But the bottom line,...the buck stops with chf. Stop placing blame on players who had no business being on the field for Auburn.
