  1. I would love to hear a few thoughts on the McCann throw in the 13th. Interference? yes or no? And why or why not? I would have to call incidental interference. Even so, that's counted as an out on the bases
  2. Wow I forgot that Ross catches Hudson. Luckily, no one will steal on him. Dude's got a cannon
  3. I'm not Please tell me your three o'clock class is Motor Learning. And my apartment complex is having a huge pool party today too
  4. Should I even go to my three o'clock class?
  5. If the Braves would ever get rid of Stripper Jones, they could make another run at the World Series. His high salary has been holding them back, and he hasn't produced in a looooong time. Except in 2008 when he hit .364 and had an OBP of .470. Or 07 where he hit .337. Or 2006 when he hit .324. You're right, no production.
  6. I agree. I was just thinking of the sucess that the Braves had last year with Infante leading off and Prado hitting second. With that said, the only thing with that would be who bats third. Heyward brings you power but placing a rookie third in the order is very very risky after only 3 games. However is they do that then Diaz could bat 7 (if not third). That would leave Heyward at 7 and bench Cabrera leaving this (which still looks solid): Infante Prado Diaz/Heyward McCann Glaus Escobar Diaz/Heyward McClouth Hudson And never forget that McClouth was basically made as a leadoff hitter.
  7. Well based on that, what do you see the batting order as? I'd say: (Cabrera/McClouth)/Infante -(LF/CF)/3B Prado - 2B Infante/Heyward - 3B/RF McCann -C Glaus - 1B Escobar - SS Infante/Heyward - 3B/RF McClouth/(Cabrera/Diaz) - CF/LF Hudson - P
  8. first and thrid, one out, and another freaking double play. squeeze bunt for all I care... just get the run across for once this game.
  9. Hanson has now thrown 1/5 as many homerun balls as he did all last year.
  10. And now something might be wrong with Chipper...
  11. Man!!! bases loaded, 1 out and Glaus hits into the slowest doubleplay I've ever seen in my life.
  12. Oh and Peter Moylan is pitching lights out right now. If we can get 6-7 solid innings out of the starters then Medlan, Moylan, and Wagner can close a game off.
  13. Tommy Hanson is very fun to watch pitch. I wonder how hard he could throw if he didn't freeze half way through his wind-up? Let me make it very clear: Lowe, Jurjeans, Hanson, and Hudson make the sickest starting 4 in the MLB. Lowe will get it back, and Kawakami CAN pitch great games. I just wish they could've held on to Vazquez
