We will see.  The facts here are much worse than any other case I can recall like this. The body cam footage is crystal clear in showing that Fortson made no aggressive move toward the officer or acted in any manner that suggested unloading into his chest could be justified.  Unfortunately, we have promoted the gun culture that is now eating at our core.

I would add that there is also a narrative out there that says, the hell with what a policeman tells me, I’m going to do whatever I want.
He very well might be charged with something or lose his job.   If any sensible human being answers a door with a gun in hand when a policeman knocked and announced and still came to the door with gun, that screams defiance and stupidity.   And he knew why the police were there, it was known that he and his girlfriend had domestic issues.
It was bad police tactics (101) and he at minimum , in my opinion, will be fired.

Except there is countless examples through the years across many sports that it does happen again and again. This isn’t the local coach pitch baseball team. This is major college sports at the highest level. What makes CBM so great is that fire, intensity and competitive edge he plays with.

I would like to say that, although he plays with intensity, his behavior (at times) hurts the team.   His fire, intensity and competitiveness is only a slight percentage of why he plays.   If he couldn’t shoot, rebound or play defense, he wouldn’t sniff the floor.   Just sayin.

From 2005-2022 Auburn boosters were more generous than Bama boosters for athletic donations.

I think you missed the subtle dig at Alabama.   It was meant to say that Alabama is cheating pile of dog sh*t.   Have been for a very long time and own the media in the state of Alabama to cover it up.   Kinda like that.

I tend to take more seriously enemies that have a 1000 nukes pointed at us right now than some idiots with signs.

Again, I understand your point.  We disagree on prioritization.

But wait….memaw and pawpaw were walking around inside the capitol.   Insurrectionist!!!!!!

let me put this here for all you biden hair sniffer folks.i am pretty sure biden never wanted to boink a daughter if he had one. am i right?

Also – and I apologize for all these questions – is it worse if the former adult film star talked about how the presidential candidate told her she reminded him of his daughter?

I seem to recall that Biden was taking showers with his daughter.   Which one is worse?   Honest question?

    Your question was specious.

No other major news organization has lost such a large liable suit by admitting what they did and paying such a huge fine.

If that's wrong, please enlighten us.

That wasn’t the question.   The question was has any other network been sued and lost.   The Fox was sued and lost.   I don’t care about the amount…to me it’s irrelevant.   You lied and got sued, period.    Other news organizations have lied, twisted the truth or have had defamatory statements and been sued.  It’s not a figment of my imagination or a stance to defend Fox.

There is no example of any other major network admitting to purposefully lying to the American public like Fox.

I’ll give it to some of you…you never seem to answer a direct question or statement.   Bravo on the deflection

I do NOT want to fire everyone in every sport. And I do not expect to win a natty every year.

What I do expect is *competitive* teams every season. Given the huge amounts of money Auburn brings in every single year, I have to ask where is it going and why are so many Auburn teams struggling to be even mediocre in SEC play?

And FYI, I played baseball, but instead competed in swimming. You got a problem with that?

It’s just a guess, but I’m not sure that you understand how revenue works.    Auburn gets a certain amount of money no matter how good or bad they are.   It makes up the majority of revenue coming into the athletic department.   Throw in the fact that Auburn is middle of the pack in the SEC in terms of revenue, Auburn is competing on par with all sports (generally).  Some years maybe worse but some maybe better.

I get my news and information from neither.

But if I had to choose my information source, I’d go with whichever source didn’t recently lose a lawsuit for almost $800 million for intentionally lying.

So, are you saying that no other network has been sued for defamation in the history of this country?

I was so confused by that

For every one on here, that is the definition of poor coaching.   You tell your 4 hole hitter to never do that before the season ever starts.   She put down a beautiful bunt and got thrown out by 3 steps.   She looked like she was carrying someone on her back.   If she had speed , it might be a different situation but seeing that , she should never attempt another bunt for hit again

  11. But just look at these responses and comments.    Trump haters attack the writer.   What did the guy say that was false?   And if anyone can’t see that this particular trial is bogus, then this country will never come together.

    In that order.

I'm not as old as a lot of you. Only remember Dye as that guy who got a crazy talented Auburn team ineligible by cheating. 🤷‍♂️

Still better than those other two though

Sorry man, but age has nothing to do with it.   Putting any of those names before Dye is completely misguided.

He has played 2 years at Clemson.  Not sure when the Covid extra year of eligibility thing applies to 2022 entrants. He has at least 2 and maybe a 3rd depending  on the covid rule.

It’s my understanding that the covid rule is only for players that were in college during the covid year.   It’s a free year so to speak, no matter what year you happen to be in.

Ok, I’ll play one time - knowing it’s pointless. Who summoned “the idiots” to come on that date (vote certification)? What was its noble purpose supposed to be before … a few bad apples spoiled it for everyone?

    Think it through.

Doesn’t matter who summoned anyone.   Did you forget that during his speech he said peacefully march to the capitol?   Did I make that up?   Or do you simply don’t want to say it?
He asked people to come to a rally and then march on to the capitol to protest.   Is it his fault that a bunch of idiots decided to storm the capitol?   If this is your position, then how any of the people that organized all the protests during the summer of 2020 not held to the same standard?
