Just so that everyone is on the same page….I seem to recall that the country in question was part (under Soviet law from around 1920’s - 1991). Of course we weren’t going to give them money during this time. Even after the break up with USSR, Ukraine has been one of the most corrupt governments in the world. Although I didn’t want to see him leave because I thought he had the best pure shot on the team (even though he lost confidence in his shot).
