I listened to Jerraud Powers on Justin Hokinson’s podcast last week and he sounded convinced that Mason’s scheme wasn’t the problem but that it was on the players failure to communicate and execute. Not saying I agree with him or that he’s correct, but I always give credence to guys that have been there and succeeded in the NFL and listen to their opinion. It was a good listen.

The difference between this year and the last few is astronomical to me. I have found myself believing that we will be well-prepared, well-coached and playing with effort. Even in defeat, we’ve played well. Proud of this team and incredibly happy with the coaching staff. Long way to go, but it’s a great start.
