API 12/57

Correction: it was the summer quarter of 1951 when I entered API.

I am 79 (Sep. '33). I entered API in the summer quarter of 1953 - fresh out of Lanier High in Montgomery. About the same time Shug was hired. I pledged Phi Kappa Tou - the house on College St was fresh too - brand new. After a couple of years out for the Army, I went back to API and graduated in December 1957. You all know what happened in Dec 1957!!. I'll be back with more stories.
