It’s Chris Moore for me. Quietly does a lot.

Losing sucks . s***ting the bed sucks. The DC sucks and needs to go. 10 million people watching the game knew bowers was getting it and that dumbass didn’t. Absolutely dropped the bag.
That’s kinda knee jerk…. Defense has been great all year, despite playing thin.
And it took until the 4th for a fantastic versatile player to break out. He usually dominates all game.

He plays at Vincent? No wonder he’s barely talked about, that’s a super small area. To get recruited by D1 schools at a place like Vincent you REALLY have to stand out above the rest like Keldric Faulk.
Personally I don’t see that type of talent with this kid. This is the type of guy who’s probably going to end up at north Alabama or somewhere like that
Yeah… it’s tiny and you may be correct. One brother played at Huntington (then skeet scholarship elsewhere) and other at Faulkner (then baseball scholarship elsewhere).
I know that Saban is keeping him close and has some guys working with him one on one. We’ll see.

I know this kid very well. Had over 100 solo tackles last year. Both older brothers could have played D-1, but never had the right people come across the tiny school they attended.
Ray has been found by a former Bama/NFL player and has been quietly working at Alabama.
Big Auburn family and now there’s a new assistant at Vincent with ties to the right side…. Cam Pettway. Not sure which game he’ll be visiting yet, but will soon.
Be on the lookout, he is starting to get a lot more attention.

I’ve also seen a lot of plays that end out of bounds…. Yet the clock still rolls.

These providers and Disney’s should be REQUIRED BY LAW to keep the service available to the consumer until the dispute is resolved. I have yet to see a credit on my monthly fee when these channels are blacked out, i.e, we’re still paying for the service but not receiving it.
I haven’t tried it yet, but apparently they are offering a whopping $15 credit.

But Card wasn't playing for UVA, and they stink at this game.
A pretty good QB who has a poor supporting cast.
Kid can play.
Yeah… I’ve always followed and pulled for UVA. You just think Bo and others took a beating here…. That is nothing compared to the abuse Armstrong took. The kid is tough and can play.

This is the most yards a Saban coached Alabama has ever allowed. That’s with them knowing we were going to be all run, little pass. Impressive indeed.

Or it’s possible Auburn and its past reputation dealing with coaches has spooked some of the potential candidates out there. It’s like we are the prettiest girl in the room, but a little too crazy for anyone to get into a relationship with.
Yeah, but the alimony is great for them after the divorce.

I asked for an update from the mods on the coaching search and ol WarTim locked the thread
I’d imagine it was the overall off-the-rail direction of the thread and you happened to be the last comment.
And I’m sure they know as much/little as anyone else - except a very few who can’t/won’t say anything.

The Beamers are from the Carolinas (Mt. Airy, NC) but Shane is from Charleston, SC.
Makes sense. Thanks

Beamer isn't leaving his dream job. He's wanted to be at SCAR for as long as he's been coaching. He's also about to get paid.
I haven’t followed his career. What makes USCe his dream job? I’d assume he held VT near and dear growing up around that program.

This angle was shown once/twice during the review. It was obvious. But they kept showing the iffy angle over and over.

I try not to hate on Andy, but damn I miss Rod
I was just getting over Jim Fyffe when we lost Rod. Andy still doesn’t feel right, despite all the heart and effort he puts forth.
Gonna miss Stan.

True, but the landscape was a wee bit different back then.
Not really. Pretty sure it was flat, and full of corn back then.
But yeah, you’re right.

I always thought it was funny when folks were 1000% ruling out him staying at OM because of that. Like they weren’t capable of working something out to retain him lol. People just take something and the mob always runs with it.
Yeah. Especially with all the private money through NIL, donations, etc.
I think it is just a matter of time until all these contracts are privatized to keep the details from being public information.

What about that 4 year rule that everyone here was running with??
Working around it through a private foundation.

Back in 2007, Alabama essentially wrote out a blank check for Nick Saban. He immediately became the highest paid coach in college football. It was an astronomical amount of money, at the time. But, they were willing to do whatever it took to return their team to greatness.
They threw money at their second choice to not get their feelings hurt being told no again. It played out very well in their favor, but saying they showed up with a blank check to get the greatest of all time isn’t how that played out.

It was a great play by #5.
great play callGreat call. Great individual play by 5.
“Analytics” is a fancy word for “a way to justify boneheaded in game calls.” Not taking the points in a low scoring nasty game cost him. Like it has cost him other games.

I just hope this doesn't negatively affect Cadillac.
Love this dude at his current position, but I dunno how often interim head coaches are retained back at their OG position once the new leadership comes in.
It’s probably just him doing what everyone else wanted… and part of the overall plan

This makes me think we are still trying to fire him with cause OR we are hoping he takes another job to do away with the buyout. Or I could be way off base on both fronts
That’s been my thoughts the whole time. Though he’s flopped here, Harsin is a marketable coach. We’re just hoping someone takes him off our hands. Personally I like the strategy. The season is going to have similar outcome either way. Can’t lose top recruits that you don’t have. Having no coach on Dec 1 isn’t any better than a known coach who’s tenure is ending.
They may even have a side deal worked out. Like hey, take another job and we won’t hold the entire buyout against you/them. Doubtful, but maybe.

Respectfully, the guys name that u hear most are all Gus recruits. Next year u will see the difference when those guys are gone. Not sure about the C-USA talent. There is a matrix floating around regarding talent on a team and Auburn is either 16 or 17.
That may be true. Gus recruited “skill” positions relatively well. Those guys will be pull the matrix up.
It’s the supporting cast who never get their names called anyway that are not up to par. Talented as the skill positions may be, it’s hard shine when everything around you collapses before you have an opportunity.
