    4) "Coach Corn' did a good job" - he's now contradicted his head coach three times in an interview

#4 is exactly what Harsin said at the beginning and end of his presser. It’s the safe PC thing to say. I’d bet not a single player or fellow coach will go on record and say Corn sucked. I don’t fault him on this one.

I watched the replay on an 80" HD screen, and if I can't say for sure there is enough evidence there to conclusively overturn the ruling on the field, I don't know how an official watching on a little screen can do any better. If you watch closely, when under the shadow of Shenker's body, his arm is pretty much the same color as the football. You cannot see the stripe on the ball from the backside view. IMO there is no way you can conclusively say from that angle whether you're seeing ball or arm from the side. From the viewpoint of where the ball was thrown, it looks like a catch.

Agreed. I think it stands either way it was called on the field.  I believe there is just as much clear video evidence to confirm the existence of Bigfoot as there is to overturn the call on the field.

I lived off Samford Ave and walked to class.  I had breakfast there every morning. I loved the bacon, fried egg, & cheese sandwiches at the BBQ House.

Yep. Breakfast was their best meal IMO. There was a herd of us walking up from Dudley almost every day.

  4. As a kid my granddaddy took me to basketball and football games. We were down for a basketball game, early as always, and walking toward us was Patrick Nix. He must have saw the glow and excitement of this 11 year old kid, stopped us, talked about football, my grades, and how I’d never forget my granddaddy taking me to all the games. Those memories, particularly the 5 minutes he chatted with us, are some of the best of my childhood.

If you’ve never seen the DVD series “Auburn Football Legends,” it is worth it just to listen to Nix. He was the most heartfelt and emotional speaker on the series (though I may be a bit biased). You'll well up when he talks about him and his dad walking down the ramp after breaking the losing streak to Bama.

    • T.D. Moultry is still struggling. His technique is often fundamentally unsound, which gets exposed quickly in this league, and he gives up too quickly on plays, rather than working to recover quickly. He is a talented kid, but he’s got work to do before he can put that talent to use.

His effort is lax, too. I saw 2 plays (for sure) where he was initially beat, gave up, stood and watched Ta’amu scramble and make a play instead of continuing to fight.
