He’s a grown man, as is Hunter.

A breath of fresh hair. 1-0 in the Harsin era. Gotta give props to the head guy in charge!

My guy is shooting them straight.

He looks like a grown man. Also, USC’s defense is looking rough…

When’s the MMW thread coming??

Just donated. Wish it could have been more. Thanks for all you do!

I might be at that Stapleton concert too. However, I’m thinking about making the trip for this game and then watching my buddy (Jack Driscoll) play in Philly that Sunday against the 49ers.

Will he still count against our class? If so, that’s dumb.
Also, with the rise of transfers, do we think they’ll make any rule where you can bring in a set number of guys not counting against the 25 limit depending on how many your school has had transfer out? To me, that would make sense.

Looks like a really good hire on paper!

Did you read her bio?
After I posted, I learned a little more about her. I’m on board! I think she could turn our great! Like someone else said, she seems to have a high ceiling as a coach.

Kinda disappointed at first glance just based off some of the names that were brought up, tbh. But we’ll see how it works! Maybe she’ll be a star!

@McLoofusnegative on the sauce. However, it’s been a minute since I have partaken of his steak. He may well do some type of sauce now.
We’ve talked about Doe’s steakhouse before, no? They opened one here several years ago and good got almighty, marinated steak(I know...I know) and fresh cut fries? Palms are sweaty, knees weak...
Doe’s originated in my hometown— Greenville, Mississippi. I grew up playing baseball with the owner’s son/grandson, Sevi Signa. Haven’t been back down there in a while, but next time I do, you better believe I’ll be eating at Doe’s.

A couple of people on the paid boards are suggesting it's mostly about being closer to home.
I hope that doesn’t mean he goes to Kentucky. It would be hard to root for him there.

We definitely just can’t have nice things.
Obvious sarcasm, but man, I hate this. We’ll never get to see what he can do at the 2 with Sharife. He carried us for a little bit while playing out of position before Sharife got cleared. The 1-2 spots would have been stacked next year with Sharife, Powell, Alexander, and Johnson.

I used to live in Fort Payne and went to church with his family. Great people! His oldest brother Logan was a year or 2 younger than me and was really good friends with my best friend’s little brother. He went to kick at Louisiana Tech, and their middle brother Evan just finished kicking at Florida. They were both amazing kickers, and Alex is supposedly the best out of the 3. I’d love to have him on the Plains.

I really think AU fans are sleeping on this guy. I feel like with all the hype around Jabari Smith (deservedly so), Alexander gets forgotten.
(I said this about JP last year, so I hope I’m proved right again.)

I mean your source isn’t presenting anything ground breaking . That is always an option. Bama or Clemson offering him always poses a risk.
The person did say he wouldn’t go to Bama, so there’s that.

Heard from someone who knows the kid that if he gets bigger offers (Auburn/SEC caliber), then he will probably go elsewhere. As much as we always want the AHS/OHS kids, going to college in your hometown isn’t that appealing to some, which I understand. I know I would want to go “see the world”, given the chance.
This source could be right or wrong. Not saying anything concrete. Just thought I’d throw this in here to let you know what someone relatively close to the situation said.

This says we now have 84 of the 85 scholarship spots filled, barring any further attrition. This would mean that we could only add 1 more, unless another leaves/loses their scholarship. Is it a pretty safe assumption that we’ll see some other players leave this offseason?

Here’s my projected starting lineup
Ward LF
Bliss SS
Williams C
Woley 3B
Ware DH
Miller 1B
Howell CF
Farquhar 2B
Hall RF
Greenhill PI really like that lineup. I like having that speed in the 9-hole.

I’ll be the first to admit that I’m usually pretty skeptic with a guy rated this low (or not ranked at all), but this guy looks like he could potentially be a stud. Seems pretty quick. And he seems like he could have a future at multiple positions. I expect him to blow up. I also think Covid has played a role in a lot of these lower rated guys not being able to get rated higher due to the lack of exposure.

I’ll take T’Varish (Chick) Dawson. I believe he’s going to have a huge year!
