And maybe if he had crawled the ump, he would have started getting the close balls & strikes called for the orange & blue.
But that's just another example of how weak Dean was as a coach.

- Top of the 14th, KK McCrary hits a 3-run homer with 2 outs and AU fans are ecstatic...we think we're going to win!
Bottom of the 14th, GA answers with a 3-run homer of their own, with no outs, followed by a solo home run to win the game...
Final score is Georgia 6 - Auburn 5
Shelby Lowe called Dean to the circle in the bottom of the 14th and it looked like she was telling him she couldn't see. He talked to her for a minute and she stayed in. After pitching brilliantly for 4 innings, she was leaving pitches over the middle of the plate. Anybody know what happened? Defense was also sloppy in the bottom of the 14th. Awful way to end the game.
What I saw after the 3 run homer was a pitcher that knew she had lost it, and wanted to come out of the game so she doesn't hurt her team any further, and an INEPT Coach too stupid to take her out.
Why not put Widra in there for 2 outs? She just pitched brilliantly and shut a team out that is better than UGA.
I am glad, glad, glad that idiot is leaving!

While he was there, our team as a whole was a crap show. That was definitely on Gus & Harsin suckin as coaches.
I 100% pulled for Bo when he was at AU. He definitely had the talent, he definitely had the arm strength.
He really had 2 weaknesses: He bailed out of the pocket too quick sometimes (most of that due to having a piss poor Oline, which I mentioned), and his accuracy was not very good on long balls.

I'm happy for Bo. What a great kid. And loved the fact that alot of his film they showed was in an AU uniform.
All that said though:
Bo struggled against SEC caliber defenses and yes much of that was bc he played behind a piss poor Oline, but he also missed a whole bunch of wide open receivers for TD's that I remember watching.
He went from a league with the very best defenses week in and week out, to a league that basically plays NO DEFENSE.
So to sum it up: I hope Bo balls out in the NFL, but he's going to have to prove it to me against NFL defenses.

Wow is this flawed! Ohio State chokes against much lesser competition at least once every year.
Oregon will not finish in the Top 5 bc they are moving to a conference that actually (plays defense).
I don't see a team ranked at #7; what is that about?
