Good as always, Coach. You should get some sort of extra credit for enduring that second half. Two things I can't understand: if your QB has a bad arm, why do we have him throwing out patterns? And if Kerryon is still hobbled, why is he returning kick-offs? Makes no sense to me.

Great analysis as always coach. Now if we can just get healthy for Amen Corner. Do you have thoughts on the red zone strategy? Stat Tiger says that we scored touchdowns only 33 percent of our red zone opportunities yesterday. When we got into the RZ we seemed to slow our pace down and became much less effective. Maybe it was designed because of JF3 or maybe the coaches were trying to give the defense more rest but I worry that Gus is starting to make more decisions on play calling when we are in the RZ. Thoughts?

Thanks, Coach. My sons and I were at the game. The thing that stood out to me about the defense was how tired they were by the middle of the third quarter. And I think that explains some of the missed tackles in the secondary. But they continued to fight and I never saw diminished effort. The old saying that "fatigue makes cowards of us all" was not true of the Auburn D. And in some ways that was the most gratifying lesson to me.
