The defense is keeping us in this until the offense settles down. They seem to have some serious nerves.

Harsin did quite a bit of damage from what I hear through the grapevine. HF is playing catch-up to reestablish those relationships. BK at looser state had a much easier time since his predecessor did not destroy the pipelines. This is the biggest reason those guys are less involved in the portal than his first year. We are going to need an extra minute.....those relationships behind the scenes are actually the most important aspect of recruiting out of high school. Don't worry too much though because our NIL budget is well funded at the current time.

I believe ZE/HF have connected with him personality wise and convinced him that he will be well utilized (and he will). NIL was the last brick. It always seems to be, and will be, with high talent. We can't predict if there is a last minute crazy offer obviously. Be optimistic this year....we are not the underdog some think. Just one thing that I want everyone to remember is that all Auburn fans need to thank Caddy whenever they can. His energy was the start of this high level of recruiting!

Dang, energy around the program is low right now. Bruce is quiet, recruiting is quiet.
It is only because football is the hot topic right now and we have been at such a lower level with the football program. Bruce is building a championship contending team. I will say that his biggest stumble was resistance to the transfer portal but now has very much changed his mindset. To be at that high of a level 'one and done' becomes much more common and BP knows this.

People may not believe this but what is happening is going to be the new norm.....

I'm hearing from a very reliable source that CHF and our Auburn Tigers are about to put the CFW on notice that we are here, not to win, but to win championships. By Monday evening heads all across the CFW landscape are going to be exploding.
Monday is the end of the dead period and by the next Monday (after BCW) Auburn fans will be in a good place. We can't 100% predict how quickly young adults can change with the wind but if everything holds behind the scenes....it will be good..... very good.

It is always disappointing to miss on high profile recruits but we are trending upwards (more like a dang rocket) and we will win those recruiting battles more frequently after this season. Two years of destroying any relationships with high school feeders added to the passive recruiting that Gus embraced for his last two years takes a minute to recover from. Caddy and HF are juggernauts and will bear fruit on the field starting this year and then recruiting will be as fun to watch as the team is on Saturdays.

@BigBlueWDE Really? Never heard of this. Got any examples?
Pickens from AU to UGA, Yeldon from AU to UAT, the lineman from North Aalbama from AU to UAT. With about five minutes thought I could come up with more.
I had never heard of these either......well.....TBH I actually tried to wipe it from my memory.

Just thinking similarly. I’m optimistic about the upcoming season performance. I mean why not be 🤷? We have a favorable schedule. What seams to be an experienced coaching staff. A upgrade at QB. Improved Oline. And a solid running back room. If a receiver or two can emerge along with a edge player or two I think new might be pretty good or at least challenge some of the better teams on the schedule
The upgrades on the O-line will pay massive dividends. Just giving the QB and extra 2 seconds (without running for his life) changes the entire dynamic and hopefully the receivers will shine a bit more this year because of it. The increased probability of running lanes will be exciting to see! If this team gels together we will be in every game. From what I am hearing the team chemistry is in damn good shape. HF is turning out to be good at handling the different personalities in the locker room.

Two years from now and the decade beyond I truly feel that it will be a golden age in Auburn football. The energy and single mindedness of everyone behind the scenes has not been felt in a long time.

If this team gels we will be in every game till the clock hits 00. Looser state sniffed the playoffs the year after they re-tooled via the portal.....anything is possible.

Well, it's certainly nice to start the day with some great Auburn basketball news!!

This 'ranking' is based on the past few years performance. I would be curious on what looser state's ranking was before their retooling via the transfer portal. This team and it's current mentality is still below the radar for most of the media. Once we hit the field things will change dramatically and by mid season I can make a bet that our fans are going to be truly enjoying Auburn football and seeing some consistency.

Oh crap, I have never donated on a Go Fund me campaign. I had no idea it would post my actual name. I guess it get it off my credit card. I am not the Jeffrey Lee recruiter guy. I'm just a guy that graduated from Auburn, played baseball there and love those who love Auburn. I have been talking to Bird for about 2 years about his sons' challenges. I just wanted to help a little bit.
No worries Jeff. I have my name out there as well but I honestly have never had a bad vibe on anyone. Once the fundraiser is over I will close it out for privacy purposes.

Guys, Bigbird's son is not doing well and we opened a GoFundme to try and help a bit. His son is probably going to be in a wheelchair again during his birthday so maybe an over the top birthday gift would lessen the sting. Toss a couple of bucks in if you can. He's a football info guy so that's why I decided to post here.

First year at Auburn. Hell of a way to start. The insane amount of TP after beating Florida that season was a sight to see!
-
HF is going to shock people in a great way in the upcoming year. Don't think for a minute he is done getting positions of need. The optimism behind the scenes is more like an exhaustive all night party. Caddy's energy has not wained one bit.

Ok, starting to get some momentum. Screens are going to open the run. Nice changeup with A under center. Can't have those penalties.....drive killer.
