  1. LSU will was way worse. UGA is at home at least. I hope staff watches for this at LSU. FL should have been on this when those two crossed the 50 yard line. Thats literally the do not cross line in a big rivalry game. They were obviously on our side starting trouble.
  2. It is so nice to be able to sit back in Jordan Hare and not chew my fingernails off. So satisfying of a game. I hope we keep the same energy in the swamp. I saw two Defensive plays that should have been interceptions. It hit our guys in the chest and bounced off of them. Gus took it easy on them in the end as it could have been really ugly. One thing State had going for them was Shrader's freaking beard. That thing was freakishly grizzly. Had to be tough to see through that shrubbery he had growing in that helmet! Sadly I left tin the third quarter to head back right before they put in Gatewood.....I knew just as soon as I left....... Oh and that take away turnover call was just.... horrible.
  3. Im so glad we won and Love to watch Schwartz hit those corners and turn on the afterburners, but we have got to do something on Defense about those little screen pass cross routes and in -routes( whatever the are called) they were eating us alive the second half. it was 1st down , 1st down ,1st down...... I fear any other team watching that game will figure out that weakness and hit us with those from the start. If A&M had abandoned the run earlier they may have won that one. How do we adjust for this? ""This was a strange game in terms of the officiating in the secondary. Don't remember when I've seen as much pushing, shoving, and grabbing between defensive backs and receivers go uncalled, at least not involving teams not named Alabama. Noah Igbinoghene led the Auburn defense with 8 solo tackles, and it seemed like he was involved in every other play." ... Agree Big Time... I have never seen such no calls on holding ever ( unless they are always on us..) Maybe this is why their pass game looked so good.. Cause they were holding so much.
  4. *There exists in the coaching ranks a condition known as being "right-handed," wherein a coach will call plays to his right more than to his left. I've wondered if Gus has that condition, as a significant majority of our plays, especially running plays, go to the right. With Tega and Harrell on the left, one would think we would go there more often. I loved this suggestion. Its a great idea. At least something they need to consider. Surely Gus has seen this I hope.
  5. Been hearing news about Freeze and Bryant a good bit on the radio. I’m not getting my hopes up but if we could land those two and some O lineman it could make it an interesting 2019 at very least. Might could recover the fan base and build faith in potential future recruiting at least to start to build something.
  6. Adjustments in the 4th are better then none at all I suppose. This game was proof why you never leave until the very end. So many so called fans didn't even see the excitement. BTW that was me that shouted "That's My Brother" for the veteran they showed on the Jumbo screen in the fourth. What an exciting ending and a great start to the best tail gate yet this year.
  7. Did you guys see how different Schwarts made the whole tempo???? Bench Stidham and put in Malik with Schwarts and we have a Poster Gus offense.... Boy Schwarts is fast.
  8. When I saw the rain at the end of the 1st. I gathered the kids up and we left. So I missed a good bit of everything after the mid second qtr. I was disappointed buy the offensive play at that point also. I would like to see more plays to him in the future. I still feel this was how FL St. beat us in 2013. The kept hitting the same receiver that was a good ft taller then our defender using short passes. Not hail marys.
  9. I would like to know why we don't throw the ball to Sal Canella more. He is a foot taller then most guys out there with arms as long as I am tall. J.S. could throw short passes way high and this guy could be making some great plays. Just like the the first TD against WA.... Not to mention he is wide open in almost every play it seems. I wish he would score a huge TD, rip his helmet off and head bang to an air guitar with that hair of his.
