In the 83 game, Agee had over 200 yards and Bo and Lionel each had over 100.  That being said Boomer Esiason had the most powerful arm I've ever seen on a college QB - you knew he was going to be a good pro.  Bobby Ross was their HC and he ran the wide tackle six defense and the FB belly was there  - Agee broke two long runs.

It was homecoming and like the rest of that year's schedule, Maryland came in ranked 7th (as I recall) - except for GA Tech and MS State that year, it seemed that every time we played someone - they were ranked.

was a freshman sitting behind the goalposts. learned the meaning "howitzer for an arm", that day.

Gonna guess Thorne either took a sack or quickly pulled it down and ran for -1 yards.

Edit: to answer the question it looks like Fairweather is about to be open as the LB takes burton.  Brown is wide open, so Is maybe the Hunter at the top of the screen..  Deep player at top seems to be covered.  So 3 of 5 WRs are open

my first question is "why is the ball still in Thorne's hand?"  Is he waiting for a hand delivered invitation?  Either 13 is clueless and doesn't realize he 's very open and should expect the ball or Thorne wants to be sure he's looking. I don't know. but that's a problem.

he ends up taking a sack.

I never felt Gus didn’t prioritize or suddenly forgot the OL - he had a run heavy system which required a great line. His problem was that he could not compete with uga, uat, and Clemson in recruiting them. Those programs ran/run nfl style systems which prepared lineman better for the league than Gus’s simpler tempo, pure rpo centric scheme. We got OL starved to death.

I always felt that Gus could not have cared less if his players were prepared for the NFL. He was only concerned about preparing them to run HIS offense.
