    Non throwing though, right?

But that does come with a period of immobility, 6-8 weeks or so, where only light lifting with the throwing shoulder.  There are other techniques to maintain neuromuscular control but not the same obviously.

I don’t care who the starter is, as I’m confident with this staff it’s the one who has shown to be most effective.  TJ is raw, so everyday with a good coach is huge.  Not sure why the angst, he may not be great or even average.  That just means we are lacking in talent and he is the best we have.  Looking forward to seeing his growth, and possibly a package for Ashford as he can do things with his legs others can’t.

I hope to goodness not. We don't have that deep of a bullpen. At least not ones that consistently get outs.

It’s not a bad strat especially having to use guys that don’t pitch much.  Keeps everyone available for tomorrow.  Obviously you want to win but you aren’t going to ride one of your best bullpen guys to the point they can’t go tomorrow unless you have the lead.  Next few innings will be key as we will see little used guys.

  3. This ump is not very consistent, outside of having a volleyball sized zone.  Such non-sense for college umps to have such small strike zones.  Even MLB has expanded and not nearly as tight.

We know arms are valuable, a great way to save them would be to give pitchers a little more vertical zone.   It’s nearly impossible to get good hitters out with aluminum bats as it is.   Waist to knees and we have quicker games and less pitches.

I just read the 247 article about their pitching … good grief … they appear to have a few ridiculous arms.

Their stats across the board are ridiculous.  I watched the Vandy game and I believe 7 in lineup were over .320.   ERA is dang good but the weather and denser air helps pitchers anyway.  I don’t want to get ahead of myself but Vandy made it seem as though those numbers are a little inflated.  Their RPI is really good just not sure the difference between #14 & #3 is all that great.  Especially considering the PAC 12 isn’t the SEC.

All that said, I’ve watched baseball non-stop since yesterday.  I’m thankful to be in supers and can’t wait for this game to start.  It’s like an all day music festival of good music building to your favorite band at the end.  War Eagle, let’s get it!

  5. The fact Saban stated they didn’t buy a single player, speaks volumes about how untouchable he and his program are in regards to recruiting violations.  Jumbo is right he is a narcissist, and probably level 1-2 sociopath.   Sounds like some politicians that have been caught red-handed but never worry about punishment.  Unreal this man is allowed to espouse his programs “by the book” philosophy when nothing could be further from the truth.  The NIL is just leveling the playing field, somewhat, and Saban knows he will have a tougher time dominating moving forward.

I saw Julio Jones mentioned above.  I know for a fact, which probably isn’t news, that he and Robert Lester’s family’s moved into condo’s at the beach owned by bammers, ofc.  Mom was given a condo cleaning business which did little cleaning.  If you are a bammer you were expected to use her services.  This information was first told to me by a member of Julio‘s family.  It’s just the tip of the iceberg.  I know this isn’t new or surprising just an example of the hypocrisy of Nick Saban.

Would pay to see a reporter ask Saban at the SEC media days what Jimbo meant about digging into Saban’s past.

Also I know Sankey probably had to reprimand both but doing so essentially muzzled Jimbo.  Jimbo was simply responding to a negative attack.  Probably got too negative but these guys know the true story, but no one says anything because of the money involved For all.   I don’t blame Jimbo, he was obviously fired up and rightly so.  Saban may tone done the rhetoric but he won’t stay silent and won’t get punished for when he speaks again.

  6. I joined just a few months prior to Nathan’s passing—I consider it a blessing that I joined when I did.  Nathan was so gracious welcoming me to the board, and so extreme positive with all his posts.  For the first month or so I had no idea he was sick.  Just unbelievable that Nathan remained such a positive, inspirational person in what I know was a miserable last year on this earth. I can only pray that if I’m ever in the same position, I will still be able to bring joy to those around me.  That was the gift he gave me, and I am forever grateful.  RIP my friend!

Justin Hokanson from Auburn Live said he talked to some people in the Boise athletic program and they are not surprised at what is happening at AU. Things were becoming unglued there also!

Now they tell us!?!?  I’m sure they gave Harsin glowing reviews.  “Hate to imagine losing our coach”!  Ofc they may have just been waiting for someone from Auburn to ask these questions.  Doesn’t seem like a well kept secret.

  8. Goodman?!   We are listening to this moron now?  The same guy that wrote an article last week as if Harsin were a martyr and Auburn power folks/athletics the bad guys?  I agree we have some idiots running the show, but they are our idiots.  Wanna be REC members like Goodman ain’t welcome in this family dispute.
