At this point, even for the casual fan watching, you have to believe CBH and staff are doing this on purpose. This level of stupidity is intentional or at least evidence of fraud.

So you want to give a coach a chance to go 8-4 but if he loses this game, he should be fired? Even if Harsin went 8-4(which aint happening), the roster is looking even worse in 2023. The longer he stays the worse its gonna get.
Exactly my feelings. Gonna be worse next year. Last in SEC recruiting, bit I forgot some are saying it still the Booster and powers that be meddling and now the media criticizing. I haven't heard him say it's on the Coaches some the way they have planned and Coached the last 8 games.

Caddy should not be the interim coach.
Why not? Any reason?
Who should?

Pappa Finley ain't wrong. Whole thing is a disaster.
These kids deserver better. Pay him $15mm, own the mistakes, let him go back to some mountain the NWYes they do deserve better. If he hasn't been doing what was expected in recruiting and visiting a d speaking outside the University then I would also say he doesn't deserve the full buyout. It is not repairable at this point. He should be gone.

I believe Georgia Tech going after Dieon.

Kind of what we all believed last year when he was a no show. Doesn't appear hes willing to change the way he does things. If they don't get him gone we are done for the this cycle recruiting and maybe next.

24-17 Auburn wins in 4th quarter.

Don't know how many members we have but from reading posts from this weekend and twitter and facebook it seems a large number of people would like to see Harsin gone. I don't guess there is a way to gauge percentage of members that want him to stay on leave?

I feel sorry for CBH. He has had a difficult job and put his heart and soul into this team. I have supported him and still do, but without all the Gus bashing on this forum. I'm just afraid if (heaven forbid) we lose on Saturday, he may lose fan support and even worse, the team. No pressure😉 but Mizzou game is huge. We must come out with guns blazing and flip the script with turnover battle. WDE!!
Time to go. Hurting Auburn as long as he stays.

I was willing to give him time to adapt and change and hopefully become more personal. He cant recruit. We are dead last in SEC. After the three games I've seen I through. Hes not willing to be part of an SEC team. He needs to be gone and Auburn find someone who can recruit, hire assistant coaches and identify with the SEC. Sooner than later for me.

Your comment:
I commented that we haven't been able to since 2017, when the OL recruiting started to suffer. My comment: In 2017 we average 4.8 yards per rush. In 2020 we averaged 4.8 yards per rush.
Is that sad and petty?
No one is under any illusion that we have a strong O-line, and recruiting and development in that area suffered. my point: it’s a lot worse under Bryan Harsin than it was under Gus. With that said:
Of course, everyone notices you refuse to address the comment: Gus left Harsin enough talent to beat Ole Miss, LSU in Baton Rouge, Penn State in Happy Valley and the turds at home.
Speaking of rushing the football, here’s a little tidbit from an Auburn publication on your boy Harsin: STULTZ: Harsin's reasoning doesn't add up on lack of Tank
Tank Bigsby touched the ball just 11 times in the game.
"I don't know all the reasons," Harsin said. "But yeah. We want to get Tank the ball."
Wait just a second. You don't know all the reasons? Listen, I know Eric Kiesau is calling the plays, but Harsin is and always has been heavily involved in the offense. And when you are facing a formidable team in the biggest non-conference home game in years, it seems you would have prepared to have your best offensive player, arguably Bigsby, be a significant factor in the game plan.
https://auburn.rivals.com/news/stultz-harsin-s-reasoning-doesn-t-add-up-on-lack-of-tank-auburn-footballSad the head Coach does not know the reasons? Harsin all Coach speak and flash but no results period!

Can you provide any evidence that Harsin has done anything to start.the process you speak of? And Harsin was doing nothing to help get a leg up in recruiting before the PTB did their thing. Not attending key events, visiting recruits we had a reasonable shot at, etc.
There are programs in the SEC that were dumpster fires of a program (namely Arkansas, Tennessee, and to an extent Ole Miss) and their coaches in fairly short order have turned them into competent, competitive programs.. I’ve seen nothing out of Harsin to suggest he’s doing the same here.
Exactly my feelings. He has not brought a y big recruits himself the time he has been here. He has been made to go to recruiting High schools and shows zero personal quality or emotion on the sideline. He's good to talk Coach speak though I give him that!

The worst part is could Caddy end up at a rival school like some of the others.
This is not Caddy's fault. Just saying.

Again, it makes no sense. If you know you're going to fire him, fire him. Don't make up stuff to weasel out of the contract.
And after the attempted coup, you should've manned up and paid the man because whether you cut him today or he runs out his contract, he's due the money agree to. You're not saving any money and when you openly express your intentions to cut someone but continue to pay them, you only incentivize said employee to not want to earn their paycheck.
But maybe someone with more business sense can explain to me how I'm off...
Paid him too much to start as unproven Coach and reccruiter.

Can we afford to pay another Coach this kind of money for terrible Coaching and reccruiting. Are we financially someone capable?
-
A lot of Coach talk and no Coach results. He shows no emotion. How many other Coaches would be allowed to stay after terrible recruiting, lost last 5 games last year. Team looking week in first two warm up games and like this today. Last in Recruiting SEC. He needs to go!

Serious question: How long does it take our program to recover?
A lot longer if they wait to fire him.
