I think the majority of our guys use gloves. I will have to go look back.

Edit- I went back and watch a few highlights from several different games and nearly every WR i saw had gloves on. D. Robertson. J. Johnson. S. Jackson. I didn't spend much time, but I believe the vast majority wear gloves.

I went back also and noticed they all appeared to. Guess I just didn't notice that on game days. Ours look smaller/tighter than some of the others I've seen where.

I can't edit posts (literally doesn't give me the option to) or else I would have thrown an edit up, I was wrong post.

Maybe I’m old school but sometimes the maturation pattern is slower for different guys.  I think Bo has all the physical tools to be a great Qb but as we saw with the Worm int, if he had slowed down and even looked at JSS it was a sure big gain or maybe TD.  I’m not ready to throw in the towel yet.

I think the play call was to go to worm. As in a predetermined play with no secondary reads. AU needed 2 yards, worm is fast, and the play just seemed like they were trying to hurry it.

Yes, it's going to take some time and people need to understand that. We lost some talent in the portal but we also gained some decent talent there too. In fact, that was one of the first things that impressed me about CBH. Instead of complaining about lack of talent when he first got here like some might do, he aggressively went about the business of replacing that talent using the portal. We need more of them, as well as a class or 2, but I think he knows how to get us there.

Could you imagine the DL/Depth without Fair, Harris, and Leota?

My number one hope for this game is that everyone comes out healthy!   @ Arky next week is a big game and much more winnable than this week.  We need all hands on deck!

Coach Harsin would disagree with this mindset.... 1 - 0.

The defense can't come out flat and soft like they did vs LSU and PSU.  We can't play from 7-10pts down and expect a chance.

If we can and the 1st quarter 0-0 I'd call that a win

Hopefully in this scenario they also had the ball first.

You can delete yourself by touching three dots at top right. Great to see someone actually admit and apologize. Rare on the forum. I knew you weren’t meaning anything by it.

Does this site not allow new people like myself to delete comments? Even in my own posts when I click the 3 dots on the top right of my post it only gives me the option to "share".

Great pickup . He’s only going to get better .

Really shows how important the transfer portal is. Our initial high school class was less than people expected but impact players like him with several years to play have a lot better chance to help early on than younger kids out of high school. Plus tranfers can't transfer like the new kids can.

Bryan Harsin vague about status of Auburn edge defender T.D. Moultry for Georgia game

Auburn coach Bryan Harsin was vague about the status of the Tigers’ top pass-rusher heading into this weekend’s showdown with second-ranked Georgia.

Edge defender T.D. Moultry did not make the trip to LSU last weekend for Auburn’s 24-19 win in Tiger Stadium. It remains unclear as to why Moultry did not make the trip, or if he will be available for Auburn this weekend in the Deep South’s Oldest Rivalry.

“I don’t know if T.D. will be here or not this week,” Harsin said Monday during his weekly press conference. “I’ll leave it at that.”

The 6-foot-2, 253-pound super senior is tied for the team lead with three sacks this season, along with fellow edge defenders Derick Hall and Eku Leota. Moultry also leads the team with six tackles for a loss.

After struggling with consistency for much of his career on the Plains, Moultry seemingly settled into his new role in Derek Mason’s defense this season. In four games, he has a career-high 23 tackles, as well as two quarterback hurries to go with his six tackles for loss and three sacks.

In Moultry’s absence against LSU, Leota got his first start off the edge for Auburn. The Northwestern transfer had one sack and a forced fumble in Baton Rouge, La., and now has eight tackles on the season, with five for a loss and three sacks.

“It was good to have him out there,” Harsin said. “I mean, this is why he came here, to be in the game. He did some things off the edge that were positive.”

tbqh, I'd be fine if the OC was fired.  I don't think he was that great of a hire to begin with and I haven't been impressed by his offense in a while.  Fire Friend too.  He was brought in to recruit b/c that's his calling card vs coaching and he's been trash

Friend has us in the best OL recruiting shape in the past decade. At least 5 true OTs are actually considering Auburn this year.

25 pages....don't think I can get through all the new stuff.

Hopefully this was covered:  Coach Corn was the local hire and I suspect mostly for recruiting.   Harsin hired his old OC when the OC did not get hired at Boise to replace him as the HC.   Gives Harsin a lot of flexibility and another trusted person on staff to help analyze things.   I heard on a podcast this morning this Eric K  guy coached WRs and Deshaun Jackson.   True?  I have no idea, but that guy was talented and got drafted and became an All Pro.

Harsin built in some redundancy in his staff and had the sack to upgrade when it appeared we were not improving over the past 6 months.     Think about it - 6 months!   That's a long time to have a small group of guys and they still can't line up right and execute inside Jordan Hare.  Shame on Harsin if he had not made a change and continued down that road while having another trusted coach on staff who could do the job (maybe better, maybe not).

If we upset LSU and win a few more SEC games,  everyone will be just fine.   Lots of football to be played.

    The dude is smart.

I just don't see how the conclusion can be made that now he's showing who's boss when literally everybody else on staff hasn't been good and nothing happened to them

Did Bobo act like an insubordinate know it all after Harsin pulled Bo? Did Caddy act like an insubordinate know it all after Harsin pulled Tank after his fumble (and yes I know Tank wasn't 100% but the game was in the line and I assure you Harsin didn't want to lose it despite it being just Georgia State)? The answer to those is no. Now Harsin also took over the WR rotation from Corn and something happened to where Harsin fired him shortly after depite knowing it would look bad. 1 + 1 = _____.
