My thoughts are that Kiffin strategy is better. Use most of NIL to get proven good/great players every year and using schollys/smaller NIL offering for HS players to build around them.
I’m leaning that way as well. Throwing the majority of NIL money at high school kids seems like a pretty risky investment

Don’t think these are reliable at all. Alabama does not that the NIL operation that Texas, A&M, FSU, and Auburn has according to the insiders I trust.
Now, they’re about to up their game because the Saban discount is gone.
Not to be argumentative but off of what data are basing that from? Insiders???? I’m genuinely curious why people would doubt the ON3 calculations.

That is what winning programs do when they are pissed at their rivals.
I think OSU has spent the 3rd most amount of NIL money on players. Texas being 1st. Bama 2nd.
Ryan Day on Game Day recently publicly recruiting players… “don’t go chasing the money come to Ohio State”

Given the circumstances of Bama and the recruiting skill set of Kelly and his history I was just wondering what Kelly could do in his position

Hoping we keep the foot on the gas. This team has a issue with playing down in the 2nd half

Coincidence that Jaylin elevates his game now that Flan is gone??

Does KD ever finish those drives???

Over or under? Kelly gets 5 Bama transfers and or flips by this years fall camp?

I'm surprised Alabama still isn't ranked in the top 25. Undefeated in SEC play, average 90+ points/game, ahead of Auburn in NET ranking. Thoughts on why they aren't?
They are gross

If some of the O-line we brought in work out we should be better both run and pass blocking. We will have quality and depth in the interior line and with tranfer and JC plus development of Johnson and Miller OT should be solid.
Lot of talent coming in at WR so even though young and will have a learning curve should be better then last year.
All of our talented RB's are returning that leaves QB which will determine how much better we might be on O.
On Defense we lost a lot. Some regular DL's and lot of talented DB's. Most of our LB's return. On D we will need some young DB's to step up. We will probably need some of our talented freshmen DB's, LB's, and DL's especially Edge to provide depth and maybe some will start.
Initially I expect a dropoff on D and not sure how new pieces will work out.
QB is big question mark on O and DB and DL on D. I am hoping one of the young QB's step up or we get a QB from portal. If Thorne is starter I still think we will be a little better on O because of better players in line and at wr, plus Freeze calling plays.
This is first time in a few years I am worried about the D.
Here’s to hoping!!

I hope all the people crying about CHF and the transfer portal will finally come around . It was constant ranting for two weeks, but it sure looks like CHF had a plan all along.
CCK laid the ground work for this transfer. Not Freeze.

If such a clause even exists there are more ways around it than we can even imagine. Were it that binding, AU would have looked elsewhere to fill the position.
Just create a new title for him and be done. “ Associate Director of Offense Operations” 😂

Tough road game coming up for us. Cocks just took down Kentucky and they look legit.
