Auburn finishes 18 in AP and 17 in the coaches polls.  In looking at the changes, we fell the most in the final polling 🤐

Perhaps in time we will remember more good from this season that the ending - I hope so.  RIP

Glad to see mostly positive thoughts to KD; I feel the same.  

That said, I thought he had made a big commitment with his tiger tattoo on the arm.  Maybe he will go to another team with tigers as a mascot?

We all HATE the ending to this season, but don't beat on the players; I know they are hurting more than we are.  As bad as we played at times, were had our chances even down to the last shot. This just SUCKs to go out when we had the better team. We devolved into playing their game.

We have clear needs for next season, big men and taller PG's that can challenge the other team. Even if we get our needs met, they will need time to gel.

We will be able to hang a SEC banner for this season thanks to this team.  That doesn't happen very often but it is time to move on.

Looks like Ole Miss and Ark passed to play in the NIT.  Vandy and Mizu didn't have enough wins to get a call.  So its up to UGA to make a deep run for the SEC.   

We're all waiting for the NCAA tournament to start on Thursday (not counting the early tip in games).

LSU loses tonight to N. Texas 84-77

UGA wins tonight over Xavier 78-76

The only other team I'm watching is App St; they play tomorrow night.

One place had predictions for all 63 games:

- UK goes out in round 2 (32)

- Auburn exits in the sweet 16

- UT goes out in the sweet 16

- turds make it to elite 8 round

Our write ups:

They have UConn beating Purdue for the NC (This will be wrong because Purdue will NEVER get this deep). I still believe we can beat UConn because they have not played a team like us (but we will have to have our 3 ball and FT's working + low TOs).

There were some brackets that had us at a 2 seed, I saw 1 with us as a 3rd seed and the majority had us as a 4th seed.  I think someone had us as a 5th seed.

Anyone seen the betting odds to win it all?  

1. UConn is +450

2. UH is +500

3. Purdue is +600

4. NC is +1200

5. AZ is +1200

6. Auburn is +1400; so clearly, we should be a 4th seed in the toughest bracket.

7. ISU is +1600

8. UT is +1800

9. UK is +2200

10. Marquette is +2500

I'm guessing if we take out UConn, we might become the favorite betting line to win it all.

latest brackets out today do not have App St in anymore.  In their place is James Madison.

Now it is our duty to win it all in the NCAA tournament and leave them wondering with a great record and with a win over us, why they got left out.

Not that it matters too much at this point...

This loss eliminates them as a NCAA automatic qualifier as they will not win the Sun Belt conference.  Does anyone think they can make it in on their record since they were good and did take us down?

In watching them, I still cannot see how they beat us.  Of course, we are not the same team we were back on 3 Dec.
