He hit 2 of 3 pass attempts, which is better than anybody else we've put out there this year. (small sample, I know) Not bad for a green freshman. As far as looking over his head, I didn't see that. At any rate, lets give the kid a try. Maybe if he does have the jitters he can get over them this time instead of next season.

He's a freaking football player not a china doll. Even if the o-line sucks, if can demonstrate a quick release and see the field, he might surprise

Please explain how a true freshman, who is not mobile, would be a better option behind our horrible line play??? Inquiring minds want to know.

I get the line is porous but having a wing t quarterback who can't pass ain't gonna beat anybody. at least the freshman has an arm.

  3. I would like to dedicate this next quote to Yella Fella, Justin Hokensen, Phildo Marshall, all the internet gangsters looking for podcast hits, everybody quoting their "sources"

Life’s but a walking shadow, a poor player
That struts and frets his hour upon the stage,
And then is heard no more. It is a tale
Told by an idiot, full of sound and fury,
    Signifying nothing.

Frankly at this point we're screwed one way or the other. If we fire him without clear evidence of wrong doing, it's just stupidly throwing money away. Imagine what we could do with $18M in NIL funds. And I'm not sure how we'd be able to hire a decent coach considering how fickle we are with no commitment.

With no clear evidence, let's just ride this baby out and see what happens. Probably not good, but we are so far away from being "good" I don't even give a crap anymore. Just burn it to the ground and start over.

I don't get the "so far away from being "good" part. There are some solid football players on this team. Bad finish to the season. Losing QB 1 didn't help. Some bad bounces and bad play calling , but it could have easily been an 8-9 win season

I don't blame you for thinking that. I apologize to everyone for my hit and run. I got a call from a friend in the President's office saying it was done but didn't say when it would be announced. I was just walking out the door for a doctor's app't when I got the call. I rushed to make the post so I wouldn't be late for the app't.  In retrospect I should have waited until I got back home. Lesson learned and I won't say any more about it until we see an announcement.

    Was your source Jen Psaki?

You mad because I called you out for those corny jokes you made earlier? lol. Who is this dude, y'all?

Don't flatter yourself son, your opinion means nothing to me. It appears you do a lot of posting here but really who are you but some anonymous person on the internet. Get a hobby or read a book. Your overheated rhetoric is lame.

I would be like this dude had no true allegations , but at least we have a plan. That all I care about. If he is fired for cause then good for Auburn. The guy is a creep and evil. If he is fired out right and we have no suitable coach to replace him, this will be a MAJOR ISSUE FOR ME. IMO, they are looking to save money right now. But they should have their guy ready.

Dang he's "a creep and evil".. what else  is he an ax murderer, a Hitler worshiper ? Does he torture small animals? The freakin' rhetoric around this is astonishing. He a football coach, fire him or keep him but for God's sake take a deep breath, lay off the expresso

I swear this all feels like the TV series Friday Night lights except in place of Coach Taylor vs. Buddy Garrity we have Coach Harsin vs. TPB.

Is there a possibility if Harsin survives that there would be "New" booster money who could come in to try and get rid of the good 'ol boys or does that Yella Fella have too strong of a hold?

Surely there are other people in the area with large sums of money willing to support the school and let the coach be the coach.

What about Tim Cook. He's got more money than God. I wonder where he stands

If you are a top program in CFB, you are losing coaches either to the NFL (which doesn't happen often) or firing them. Very rarely do they make it to retirement. A place like Auburn isnt at that level where they are losing guys to other jobs, so the only other outcome is that they are fired. Tubs and Malzahn were both here for decently long stints and both had some great years.

I was just thinking Tubs was probably my favorite recent coach even if Bama was real beatable at the time. he was a mostly pretty upbeat guy

Everybody...please read the whole post. I said this is what a source told me. I personally didn't say it because I don't know it to be true just like a lot of posters don't know what they are posting to be true. My bad for the confusion I guess. In any event I'm through with it and will just sit back and wait for the truth to hopefully unfold.

You did apologize, but dang why did you post it if you don't know if it's true? That's an assault on someone's marriage, family, character, career aspirations, ability to recruit. It's freakin' toxic.

Did you just create a username to be annoying?

The faux seriousness of some people here with their breathless new revelations is what's annoying to me. "My inside sources...blah, blah...boinked a staffer...was mean to the kids...blah , blah.

Give the guy a shot or fire him..whatever.

  12. This story is moving fast. Now my impeccable sources are telling me it's definitely going to be Chiz. He hasn't been idle. He's worked up a whole new playbook.

He's going to use four of those available scholarships as part of a parole board hearing to bring back Mike McNeil, Shaun Kitchens, Antonio Goodwin and Dakota Mosley. They'll be an updated version of Knute Rockne's offense, "The Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse" The NCAA is talking about giving the fellows 9 extra years of eligibility for their years in Atmore Prison.

They have another series of plays similar to the Shotgun. It's called Michael Dyer's Gun or the 9mm.
