There was no reason for UNC and Duke to be ranked so highly while playing their weak ass ACC schedules, but they’ll probably keep UNC at or near the top 5 as long as they beat weak ass Miami and will keep Duke in the top 10 as long as they beat even more weak ass Notre Dame and Boston College. You pretty much know how Duke and UNC would be doing in a real conference based on their 5-5 OOC record against Power 6 opponents, but the pollsters don’t care. Wisconsin also being ranked ahead of us while playing in the weak Big 10 (which is somewhat better than the ACC but much worse than the ACC) is also absurd.
