Like all deniers you are totally ignorant of what you claim.

The weather changes along with the climate.  How do you explain the undeniable warming over the last two centuries?

You need to go back further to see established warming and cooling trends. Solar activity is the primary culprit. Didn’t the IPCC get caught using “select” data from certain locations to support their theories?

Yeah, the fact you keep saying "weather" tells the entire story of your knowledge on the subject.

Pretty sure your computer was trying to keep you from logging in because it felt pity for the rest of the world.

A lot of the world is pitiful. My old MacBook is definitely smarter than me.

    Great Scott.

You haven't posted in days, and this is what you come up with?

I'm just going to pretend a freaked out cat ran across your keyboard and move on.

Well I don’t have a cat but you are welcome to pretend that throwing money and earth raping electric cars at the weather will do anything to improve whatever you think it should be.  Had an issue with getting logged in. Thus the days long leave of absence.

Another recent article linking Climate change denialism to politics:

    https://news.umich.edu/nearly-15-of-americans-deny-climate-change-is-real-ai-study-finds/

Nearly 15% of Americans deny climate change is real, AI study finds

Public figures such as Trump play outsized role in influencing beliefs

All of us deniers denied before trump was a gleam in your eye. And we don’t deny climate change. That’s what we call weather. It’s the bogus blame we deny. Your side apparently are “sun deniers”. You deny that the sun makes it hot.

If you truly don't see the parallel to Trump and the relevance of it to this particular discussion, I have wonder why you read the bible at all.

How is any of it relative to modern life??

Hell, I'm an atheist and I get it.

That's your parallel.  Why are you quoting the Bible? You don't believe in God, or the Bible.

If Tim Scott was gay then, yes that would have affected the enthusiasm and support that a large number of evangelicals would have for him.

maybe it wouldn’t for you or for the people you know, but for many it would.

It doesn’t mean they vote for Biden, it could mean choosing not to vote at all or lead to less donations on the campaign trail.

That’s just your fantasy. You can’t speak for republicans or conservatives. People like you are why fables like this exist. You must be getting very nervous to go after a hypothetical Scott.

In many action movies the bad guy puts the hostage in front of him to protect from the cops. It’s a complex problem.  But I’ve never seen the movie where the solution was to simply just shoot the hostage in the head 10 times.

Uh..in the movies everybody goes home at the end of the day.  Good analogy though. Well done.

Some Republicans were wary of Scott's campaign for President because they were afraid he was gay man, as he was near 60 year old, perpetually single, and never married, and they were afraid that him being caught with a man or coming out as gay could hurt his support with the Evangelical base.

Then Tim Scott suddenly pulls a woman from of his hat out of nowhere, and announces that they are getting married.

I personally do believe Scott's story that he's just a very private, introverted man who just never wanted to publicly talk about his relationships, but it is kind of funny that he suddenly comes out fiancé right as him not being married was becoming a talking point in national circles.

You seriously think any of us would have a problem voting for Tim Scott over Biden? Or as Trumps VP?

Yep. Kinda hard to prevent or remediate anything when the person in charge of country doesn’t see an issue and would do it again. If trump loses this year I prefer not to imagine what he’ll have his base do. Especially if he’s seeking some sort of self pardon.

Didn’t they cut off Trumps social media access during the protests? That would be his only method of contact/control. He may have.

Why was our CF playing little league depth there on that last AB? I understand not camping out at the warning track with a guy on 3rd, but dang…

Had to stop a line drive single to keep the run from scoring. Seemed a little shallow to me also but you gotta play in. Assumption is the cf can run down a fly ball for out 3 except our guy wasn’t fast enough.

In America, we have ole Brother So & So telling us that Jesus was "blonde-haired, blue-eyed, truck-driving, flag-waving American."

He was none of those things. There are no white people in the bible other than maybe a few nameless Roman soldiers.... I said what I said...

Pretty irrelevant comment there. I’ve never said any of that. But whatever.

So you have the standing to speak for ALL Christians? :-\

"It is filled with untruths such as Christians wanting to reintroduce prayer in public schools. All we want is for prayer in public schools to not be outlawed."

What  BS prevarication this is! What you really want is to exert political power to reinstate Christian prayers in school. Certainly not satanic prayers. Public schools are no place for prayers - of any type.

Whether you want to recognize - it or simply deny it by declaring these people not to be Christian, there is a strong Christian dominionist/nationalist movement in this country. You only have to look.

I have standing to speak for myself; and I proudly claim the mantle of Christian. No one person can speak for all. A straw man you regularly use like it is relevant to the conversation.  I would love for Christian prayers to be reinstated in public schools. Things weren’t so bad then. Even you can clearly see that.

Actually, many self-identified "Christians" most certainly do.

    https://www.christianitytoday.com/ct/2021/february-web-only/what-is-christian-nationalism.html

"What do Christian nationalists want that is different from normal Christian engagement in politics?

Christian nationalists want to define America as a Christian nation and they want the government to promote a specific cultural template as the official culture of the country. Some have advocated for an amendment to the Constitution to recognize America’s Christian heritage, others to reinstitute prayer in public schools. Some work to enshrine a Christian nationalist interpretation of American history in school curricula, including that America has a special relationship with God or has been “chosen” by him to carry out a special mission on earth. Others advocate for immigration restrictions specifically to prevent a change to American religious and ethnic demographics or a change to American culture. Some want to empower the government to take stronger action to circumscribe immoral behavior.

Some—again, like the scholar Samuel Huntington—have argued that the United States government must defend and enshrine its predominant “Anglo-Protestant” culture to ensure the survival of American democracy. And sometimes Christian nationalism is most evident not in its political agenda, but in the sort of attitude with which it is held: an unstated presumption that Christians are entitled to primacy of place in the public square because they are heirs of the true or essential heritage of American culture, that Christians have a presumptive right to define the meaning of the American experiment because they see themselves as America’s architects, first citizens, and guardians."........

    ----------------------------------------

I'll leave it to you - and them - to decide who's the real Christian.

I stand by my statement. The essay by Paul Miller attempts to connect Christians with nationalism as defined by himself. It is filled with untruths such as Christians wanting to reintroduce prayer in public schools. All we want is for prayer in public schools to not be outlawed. That’s different. He hides a few bones in there regarding Christian principles and philosophies. But it is mostly a diatribe against any and all mentions of Christianity and its place in the public arena. It assumes that Christianity is different from Christian nationalism but that there are no real Christians out there practicing real Christianity, just Christian nationalists.

are you still ignoring the truth? if you think that upsets me you would be wrong. you are crazy as hell so maybe you should try some meds jj...........you need a truth enema.you are the same ol jj taking up for a slime bag. have fun with that.

Ignoring what truth? Taking up for what slime bag? Aren’t we discussing the rapture? You don’t believe in it, so what. I do. That’s not me ignoring the truth. That’s your opinion based on your believing pretty much any “theologian” who aligns with you or says something in the Bible is “misinterpreted”. That’s just rationalization so you can trash Christians and the Bible as you continuously do. And you do seem a little upset.

google is your friend..........religion spouts off too much hate. i see it here from people who claim to love god but trash folks all the time. and you give those hurting religion a pass..............remember ol aubie told you guys this.

First we are talking Christians not religion. Second, you sometimes interpret referencing a clearly written Bible verse (God’s Word written for us) as “spouting off hate”. It is not. It is your refusal to believe in accountability for your own actions that inspires you to call it hate. Trashing Christians and the Bible is an act that you will be accountable for at the time of your judgement. Will it be at the rapture? I don’t know. You may be left behind at the rapture to deal with tribulation. If so your reckoning will occur at the end of tribulation or upon your physical death.

That "Christian Nationalism" is basically fascism, pure and simple.

Both proclaim nationalism as an attribute.  And the proclaimed religious conviction existing in that movement is directly analogous to the racial purity convictions associated with Nazi fascism.

Christians don't ascribe to any of the items mentioned in the definition of fascism.
