Is that the same knee as last year?
I'm not sure but will try to find out. As he was being helped off the field, he was bearing some weight on if, but not much.

I hope it was not the same knee that caused him to miss part of last season.
They indicated it was his right one.

Well that's just wonderful
My thoughts exactly. I talked with one of the dads of a player and they thought it wasn't anything too serious, but I guess they'll know more soon. He was in obvious pain.

Sitting on the bench, appears to be his right knee.

Well....MA's first offensive play and Austin got dinged. Limped off the field, but is walking a little on the sideline.

I'm at the Madison Academy game tonight. This young man looks HUGE in person!

We used to be so lethal in the red zone. Now we act like we don't know what we're doing. We become like some giddy junior high boy on his first date and start spazzing out.

We have been on Clemsons side of the field almost the complete quarter and have not gotten any pets yet
I'll be very disappointed if we don't at least get a hamster here.

Great job to Coach Steele and the defensive staff in getting our defense prepared and ready to play.

I've tried not to be critical of Gus, but what we're witnessing tonight with our offense makes it impossible not to.

Despite our ineptness on offense, we could still win this.

If that's the case, then either:
a: they competed and weren't good enough to beat him out
or
b: they didn't man up and try to win the job in practice but instead took the easy way out to a less competitive situation.
We win either way because we want the best of the best playing and those willing to compete to earn the starting job.
A few years ago, some on this board worried when we were recruiting Russell Wilson to transfer in that we were sending a bad message to the current QB's on roster. We didn't get him and we all know how the following season went. Bottom line, if you bring in a guy that competes, wins the job, and gives you the best opportunity to win on the field, the players and fans will get behind him. At this level, you don't get a participation trophy and you only want the best out there representing your team.
