AUnCullman 601
Just to throw this out there because I have no doubt we will be there! I'm gonna say we are a 12 seed playing a "mid tier conference" team such as Xavier. This is just for fun so sue me.

llthejoker 0
yea that really would be fun!! Been a long time since AU mens bball has made it to NCAA. I'd love to do well within the SEC tourney this year too. We're going to surprise some people this year FOR SURE, and make a name for ourselves. To answer the question, I could see like a Big 12 school, or maybe a lower ACC school..
InfernoOrangeSS 321
College of Charleston....Aren't they usually a 16 seed?
Tiger Growlin 0
While I believe we have a tournament team in terms of talent and that we will win 20+ games this season, we will need to win the SEC Tournament to get in. Our nonconference schedule will hurt us more than it helps. I recently read a breakdown of the nonconference schedules on espn.com. They give a ranking of each school on a scale of 1-10. Our rank is a 2. Our schedule will be laughed at come selection time. We will need a ton of things working in our favor to get in. There is so much weight put into a team's rpi rank and we won't be highly ranked in the rpi. I've been on the we have a tournament team bandwagon since the end of last season and i've been preaching to any and everyone. Looking at our complete schedule now, i'm not so sure. Again we will win a ton of games, but will it be enough?
