AU64 10,122 Posted February 20, 2012 Share Posted February 20, 2012 The problem with college baseball is that you can never build a mature team...the good players head off to pro ball as soon as they get drafted and the coaches are always bringing in a bunch of new kids that aren't good enough to get drafted out of HS. The job of the coaches is to take these raw kids and immediately teach them how to play SEC quality ball. FUNDAMENTALS.....it's what small-ball is about. I'm not giving up or anything but I get frustrated when an entire new crop of players looks just like the ones they replaced from last season. They have a lot of work to do.
