AFTiger 282
The sun is shining in Birmingham right now but it looks like a major system is moving our way. Weather Radar
quietfan 233
Reports I've seen this morning still say 50 % chance of rain at game-time, increasing to only 60% by game end. On paper we should still be able to handle them in the rain, although it probably does affect us more since it would have more effect on passing and speed--two areas that are clear strengths for us. So I imagine they're praying for rain. On the flip-side, miserable weather would somewhat stifle any home-crowd noise they're hoping for. (I mean, no one is going to stay home from the Iron Bowl because of the weather, but it's harder for the crowd to be loud and enthusiastic when drenched, holding umbrellas, and trying to keep the rain out of their Bourbon & Cokes). Of course, scoring early and often, as has been our pattern, would help stifle the crowd, too, and be a much more fun way to do it!
Ryan Sanders 123
Rain is very very likely.. lets just hope that some of it starts to dry out a little bit.
