AU64 10,122
Must've been warm in Knoxville yesterday. At least on the mound in the bottom half of the ninth Yep a nice 70+ day... .a good day for baseball....certainly much better than those days and nights in the 40s for some games this year. Don't you just love it when a softball or baseball game is halted because of sleet like earlier in the season.
Tigerbelle 5,299
FYI.....CSG has changed pitches for some of the pitchers.....because he said so himself. He is the boss, after all. He is involved in every phase of the game, so having the same pitching coach doesn't really mean things can't be adjusted if CSG wants to try something else. And it's certainly not a bad thing to try something new that may expand a pitcher's available weapons. As far as last season....TD didn't look as uncomfortable then as he has this season so far. Maybe it is the cold weather and that makes him a slow starter. He had 2 blown saves early last season, but other that that he was effective, so my memory isn't that far off. He did pretty well in SEC play. He was 2nd in the league with 9 saves.
