Russia and China object to automatic trigger on sanctions

Obama says he wants an automatic snapback of sanctions if Iran should violate the terms of this so called framework. Russia and China do not want this and I know Iran doesn't. They will never agree to it. Without that automatic trigger then it would have to go to the UN where Russia and or China would almost certainly veto it. There is one reason and one reason only that we are doing this. Obama wants a legacy achievement in foreign policy. He wants to be able to say that a deal was able to be done while he was president. The details are irrelevant. Whether it actually works in the long run is irrelevant. He'll just say that he made a great deal and that his successor screwed it up or some such something. This all about his legacy and his ego. John Kerry has his eye on the nobel peace prize too.
