Streyeder 0
Man were those some good ribs. I think they have the best BBQ you can get around AU. Just MHO. At any rate, they have been remodeling for a couple months now and they've finally reopened. I don't like their new look, I like the diner look personally and now it looks like a bank. The inside, however, is MUCH roomier and there's plenty of places to sit. Gotta love that sweet tea too...
deepseas 0
I must have been away from Auburn for quite a while, I've never heard of this place, where is it located?
Streyeder 0
On College St, just across the tracks on the left.
Aubie16 1
I'd go with Price's BBQ House for the best bbq in Auburn
Streyeder 0
Where is it? I've eaten at Country's (x2), Byron's, Mike and Ed's, and Golden Rule so it's not like I'm baseless in my choice. But, there's always room to try one more place's ribs! SouthLink02 8
Weird. I just ate at the Mike & Ed's here in Athens yesterday. Usually get the 5-piece Chicken Strips with beans and potato salad. Damn good
TrueBlue72 0
I noticed their new look while in Auburn for last weekend's games; will have to try it next time. I recently tried Country's and thought it was very good. Tried Byrons and thought it was extremely mediocre! Tried Golden Rule and found it to be a FRAUD!!! Their "Original 1897 Sauce" has high fructose corn syrup and MSG, two ingredients that were not even known in 1897. It's hard to beat Chuck's in Opelika; not Chuck's in Auburn; the one in Opelika is much better.
Streyeder 0
I never did like COuntry's, but I'll have to go out and try Chuck's.
