“While our offense wasn’t great against Memphis, for sure… Memphis was only scoring 72 points, and we gave up 82. It was clearly our defense,” Head Coach Bruce Pearl said Tuesday during his preview press conference. “They took our shot-blockers away from the basket… and we didn’t make adjustments soon enough… That’s on me.”
