IN PHOTOS: Auburn signees in the All-American Bowl

A look at Walker White, DeAndre Carter, Demarcus Riddick, Amaris Williams and Kensley Faustin from this week in San Antonio.

Auburn is very well represented in this week's All-American Bowl in San Antonio as five future Tigers are taking part in the festivities that ends with Saturday's noon kickoff on NBC. Quarterback Walker White, offensive lineman DeAndre Carter, defensive lineman Amaris Williams, linebacker Demarcus Riddick and defensive back Kensley Faustin have all performed well this week alongside some of the best players in the country.

Auburn is looking for some experience for its secondary heading into 2024

Toledo cornerback transfer RJ Delancy III is visiting Auburn on Thursday, Auburn Undercover has learned, as the Tigers look to add some experience to a secondary that's losing four starters.

A former Nebraska transfer, Delancy started eight games over the past two seasons at Toledo. In 2023, he had six pass breakups and an interception along with 18 tackles.

Rated as a 3-star safety out of Miami in the 2020 class, Delancy has one year of eligibility remaining.

Auburn recruit Walker White impressing scouts at All-American Bowl

Brian Hauch
~2 minutes

Auburn 4-star recruit Walker White is reportedly cooking at the All-American Bowl practices this week.

According to 247 Sports, the 18-year-old has been the most impressive quarterback in camp through the first half of the week.

This is an impressive feat considering the All-American Bowl is the last stop for a profusion of high school seniors before they transition into college football. Some of the other signal-callers in camp include TCU signee Hauss Hejny, Texas signee Trey Owens, Arizona signee Demond Williams, and Wake Forest commit Jeremy Hecklinski.

The list of quarterbacks is talented, but White has been able to stand out because of his “explosive arm capable of making any throw” and “psychical presence that draws eerie similarities to former Kentucky quarterback Will Levis.”

Their is no doubt White has all the physical gifts that make up a great quarterback. Standing at 6-foot-3 and 222 pounds, White dominated at Little Rock Christian Academy in Arkansas. The 4-star threw for 2,660 yards and 29 touchdowns as a senior, adding on eigth rushing touchdowns.

White’s impressive start to the All-American Bowl practice window is encouraging to see, and Auburn fans will surely have their eyes on him when the game kicks off this Saturday, Jan. 6, at noon CT on NBC and Peacock.

Other than White, linebacker Demarcus Riddick, defensive lineman Amaris Williams, defensive back Kensley Faustin, and offensive lineman DeAndre Carter will be in action.

Hank Brown on Kayin Lee: 'He is going to be one of the best DBs that Auburn has had'

Andrew Stefaniak
~2 minutes

Hank Brown believes Kayin Lee will be special at Auburn.

With many of Auburn's talented defensive backs opting out of the Music City Bowl, the coaching staff had to put a bunch of the young guys out there, and one of those players was Kayin Lee.

Against the Maryland Terrapins, Lee played 42 snaps and had a tackle for loss and pass breakup in this football game. Lee graded out at 67.4 on PFF which was ninth-best on the defense.

During his true freshman season, Lee played a total of 336 snaps and proved he is going to be special in an Auburn uniform.

Auburn freshman quarterback Hank Brown joined the Locked On Auburn Podcast to discuss the bowl game.

Host Zac Blackerby asked Brown to discuss Kayin Lee, and the Auburn quarterback had this to say, " Kayin Lee is going to be one of the best DBs that Auburn has had, in my opinion. He is an absolute stud. He has an incredibly high ceiling. His ceiling is so high, and I can't wait to see how good he plays next year. But like you're saying, he is so impressive, and it's going to be fun to see him start and play the whole season next year. So, I'm excited to see what he can do. He's a really special player."

Auburn will be losing some talented corners and safeties, but it's clear there is still plenty of talent on this roster, with Lee being one of those players.

Lee is going to be a shutdown corner in the SEC sooner than later.
