quietfan 233
I just caught this brief blurb in the Huntsville Times: http://www.al.com/auburnfootball/huntsvill....xml&coll=1 Starting tailback Kenny Irons, who revealed after the game he's nursing a strained groin, got 69 yards on 21 carries. I haven't seen any mention of this anywhere else. Anyone else know anything more about it? Will he be 100% next week?[i know one thing--no way would I ever get 69 yds with a strained groin...oh, who am I kidding, no way I'd ever get 9 yds, healthy, in the SEC! ]
Tigermike 3,027
That is the first I have heard of that. I hope he gets it healed up by Saturday. But Brad Lester looked pretty good didn't he?
Ranger12 46
Might want to read some more of the Huntsville Times articles before you get too worried. "I was getting treatment all week, but it's OK," Irons said. "It was tightening up. I had to keep on stretching on the sideline. Everybody did their job. Now we just have to get ready for next week."Irons said there are ample options behind him on Auburn's running back depth chart. "In the SEC, you have to be able to run the ball," Irons said. "We're still going to be able to run the ball, no matter what." Link
