Ranger12 46
Okay, is it just me, or did this guy just defeat his own reason for Shula to go for it instead of kicking a field goal on their first drive? Isn't the fact that UAT could not convert two 2 point conversions later in the game, vindication for Shula not going for it on 4th down on the 2 yard line? Worst time(s) to go for two: If Mike Shula wanted to show confidence in his offense, he should have gone for it on fourth-and-goal from the Auburn 2 on his team’s first drive. Going for a 2-point conversion twice and failing hurt the Tide big time. Link
