Auburn Sweeps MSU, Moves up in SEC

Auburn moved in to a tie for 2nd and 1 game out of 1st in the West with the 11-8 win today. UAT knocked off UF 10-8 in Turdville putting Auburn just 2 games out of 1st in the race to Hoover. Here are the standings after this weekend:

EAST

  4. Tennessee (11-13)
  5. Kentucky (9-15)
  6. Georgia (3-19)

WEST

  1. Arkansas (16-8)
  2. Auburn (15-9)

  4. LSU (12-12)
  5. UAT (10-14)
  6. Miss State (5-19)

we are really playing well. I'm thinking about driving over to mobile tuesday for the game vs. South Alabama.

AUBURN, Ala. - No. 19 Auburn used two home runs off the bat of Brian Fletcher and another by Kevin Patterson to claim an 11-8 win over Mississippi State on Sunday, completing Auburn's first three-game series sweep of its SEC West rival since 1987. With its win, Auburn (33-15, 15-9 SEC) moved into a tie with Ole Miss for second in the SEC West, one game behind Arkansas.
