AU64 10,122 Posted December 31, 2017 Share Posted December 31, 2017 AU started off missing their first 16 shots and was down by 17 at one time early but has gradually worked their way back and now has moved ahead comfortably by the end of the 3rd quarter. Quite a remarkable comeback.....used aggressive defense to force Florida into an massive number of turnovers while taking pretty good control of the ball themselves...Made a rally to eventually tie the score at about 25 or so....then swapped small leads for a while before turning up the heat and pulling ahead by 12 with 8 minutes to go. Hard to know what happened to the gators......just ran out of gas or something and AU got lots of open driving shots and did not miss many FGs the last 8 minutes. Hoping the last half of the game is what we will see this year. ..good rebounding hustle and lots of "in your face" defense. All we needed was a larger crowd. .....
