Also Grimes’ class was also stellar!! 3-4 yrs later they are in the Natty. So while getting the QB is fun and all. This is the formula for how you win championships!! So refreshing that CHF realizes that.

Because being named Mr. Louisiana has peaked my interest in the kid…I feel like I watched LaTech this year, but don’t remember what I saw. Lol. . edit:: found some stats. 7 games, 750ish, 3td’s, 4 ints…65 percent though!!

I was actually unaware they had more than one school. Which I’m sure is recent?? I remember Plano used to only have one school (long time ago). Used to compete for titles yearly. Then they added another high school. Haven’t been back since.
Regardless, it Doesn’t mean That area CJ is from is not loaded with talent!!!

I can’t give an answer. It is an interested perspective on Gundy. I’ve never thought of him that way, but as you stated he has had some success with QB’s.
Personally, I tend to think a lot of QBs in the Big-12 in his time have had some huge numbers. One could argue that none had as much success consecutively as Gundy has. So maybe there is some substance to his QB coaching. It’s just hard for me living in Big-12 country to ever admit that. As I read on this board earlier. Ppl love their story to fit the narrative. (Or something like that) lol. I’m sure I’m not different in that regard.
Anyways, you ask a great question. I appreciate opening my eyes to something that I’ve never thought of. Something about Gundy rubs me the wrong way, but that should not mean I dismiss him as being a good QB coach -

Think I saw Scott being assisted off the field in the 2nd quarter. He was waking under his own power. So assisted might not be the correct word.

The two we retained and T Reed were responsible for all recruits we got. I know, I know that is a little bit of an exaggeration, but not by much.
Who would've thunk that making T Reed available to recruit. Would be the only move that Harsin did correctly. I don't remember the specifics, and the more I think about it. It was probably done by necessity?
