  1. D has to hold here, Cincy in RZ
  2. CBS affiliates showing the game now for extra coverage
  3. 10-6 actually, Steelers. L. Bell out with a knee injury, this could really hurt
  4. Up 10-9 starting the 4th, got to have this one or the division may be too far out of reach
  5. Came up short today, 23-13 to the Chiefs
  6. Steelers O pedestrian so far, I hope they can get the lead and beat the Chiefs.
  7. Yes, KC has stumbled this year, but they still have some good talent. Our D is playing better than I thought they would. We just need to keep pace with Cincy until Big Ben returns.
  8. Yes, I heard the guy on the NFL show saying you don't want Jones as your QB and then he put up some nice numbers
  9. Same here. Lifelong fan of both!
  10. I saw this a day or so ago and thought it was cool. http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2015/10/14/crowd-noise-from-steelers-fans-affected-philip-rivers-in-san-diego/ The Steelers travel better than any team in the league.
  11. Yep, good TEs have traditionally caused us some headaches. And the O did look pretty basic most of the game, which surprised me a bit, since they had a good bit of time to work on some things. Then again, I can't complain much, I remember the Brister years!
  12. True, I found myself watching the game and asking such questions as . . . Why are we not running some Read-Option plays? Why do we keep handing it off to LB, especially on 1st down. Why are we not throwing the ball more, after all, our QB has a big arm? Why is the QB not scrambling more, he's supposed to be a good runner? Why did our D look so porous at times? And then I thought, Wait a minute, which team am I talking about?!!!
  13. Heck of an ending! Steelers win!
  14. Our O is sputtering without Big Ben in there. We need to beat the Chargers! 10-10 in 4th
  15. Go Steelers!!!! I've been an AU and Steeler fan my entire life. I was rooting for both teams when I was in diapers (I have pics to prove it)! Been through the good and bad with both teams. The Bad: The end of the Dye era when AU wasn't up to par. The end of the Bowden era when we weren't close to par. The end of the Chuck Noll years and the Bubby Brister years in Pittsburgh (ouch!). No doubt, has been far more good than bad. So go Steelers and War Eagle!!!
