It's hard for a reliever that's not a closer to win a Cy Young. If he pitches like this the whole year, he would deserve to be mentioned in it. If Jurrjens keeps up his work, he should be in the race too. I've been pleasantly surprised by his consistency too, let's see if he can keep it up

How about that 9th inning last night? It's been a while since I've seen everyone in the lineup tear it up like that. Freddie Freeman also had a couple of nice strokes to opposite field, one of those a home run, which is always good to see from a lefty.

In other news, Martin Prado is quickly becoming one of my favorite players. He just goes out and plays whatever position they tell him to play, and he just doesn't stop hitting

We tried to go that Friday, but we couldn't hardly find 5 seats together. Tickets were tough to come by for that one. We're going either Saturday or Sunday, I preferably want to go saturday, because that game is on Fox I believe, and I don't want to have to listen to those announcers the whole game

Good read here about Venters and Kimbrel sharing the closer's role for the time being. http://sports.espn.go.com/mlb/spring2011/news/story?id=6249782 I personally think that Venters would be best as the set up man, because I think he can go for longer than Kimbrel can, and use Kimbrel to shut it down in the 9th.

We really need another big year out of Prado. I hope he wasn't a one-year wonder because he will be a huge help this year if he can hit around .300

Well I hope this not striking out in spring training carries over to the regular season for McClouth, because he was constantly striking out last year. And the number 2 hitter has to be able to make contact. A number 2 hitter needs to be able to bunt, hit and run, hit a ground ball to second base to score a run from third, hit sac flies when needed...not strike out. So I hope McClouth's improvement translates over to real games
