Jimbo is having his own issues, but Dabo is a different class of coach:

Dabo won without the best recruiting classes. Since 2014 his recruiting class rankings were 16,9, 11, 16, 7, 10, 3, 5, 10.  He did far better than Gus with the same recruiting success.

Dabo knows how to recruit, coach and WIN !  AU would be worse than foolish to not pursue him if there is an opportunity.  AU better steal him just to keep him from coaching at Alabama and PAY DABO WHATEVER HE WANTS.

I hope that my comments show how vastly different Dabo and Jimbo are and that Dabo would be the best hire since Dye.

And Traore just picked up his 4th foul right after checking in. He's been on the floor less than 90 seconds and has picked up 4 fouls in that time.

He fouled so quickly I didn't even know he was on the floor

I have not read all these pages but Dabo would be beyond a HR hire. Yes, he went to Bama but considering his success and age I'm not sure there would be a better hire period.

I was thinking tonight, aren't there some 5 win teams that make it to a bowl? The extra practice time that a bowl team gets is the real bonus.

If Coach Lac could have been the HC during the off week, 2 weeks to prepare, I think we win at Miss St.

The D has given up exactly 0 points. I'll take that every time.

I'm more pumped for this game than I have been about a game in years!

Side note, Carlson needs to be benched.

Agree completely. Not downing the team at all. I'm very excited for this year. We will get better.

As a team this was not a good showing. I thought Tre played well. Flan was better than I have seen him in a while. Good to get a W, but we have some work to do.

This loss is miles better than the Missou "win".  Team showed grit and left it all out on the field. I think they had fun too.

   I wish Caddy was HC ready. He's not, but I sure love him!

Fun game to watch. Probably the best of the year.

I think the criticism of Harsin has gotten so wound up that it doesn't matter what he does it will be wrong. If he goes for it and an INT is thrown he's an idiot for not taking the points. 

Plenty out there to be upset with Harsin. That call imo is not one of them. 

He was ruled down in bounds. The clock would have started and it would have a high risk of a play not turning out well. Taking the TO and taking 3 was the smart play. 

The only reason we may not end the season better than 15th is because the SEC is going to be very good this year. There will be some beating up on each other.
