Got ya. Well, to that point we could have been looking at 2 deep drives in the tournament. You were pounding the drum about Mark years ago. I am not a good evaluator of HS talent but to me he looked good. Surprised we didn't go hard after him at either opportunity.

You didn't have to add Jabari, which no chance he would have been here this long. Just put Mark on this team and we have a shot at the title.

All this talk about wanting another coach and "getting over the hump" I know we just lost a tough one. I'm depressed but Bruce is the best thing to happen to Auburn since Dye. In the past 7 years Auburn basketball has either won the regular season championship or tournament championship 4 times. You guys can be all high and mighty with your super lofty standards but that is getting over the hump to me. We were the 6th most likely team to win it all this year by Vegas odds. Outside of KY, UF has 2 national titles and Arky has 1. So if the hump is to win national titles or get fired we won't be keeping a coach.

I honestly thought this year was at least sweet 16 with a real shot to get past Uconn. Man, this one hurts. I'm so depressed. I have learned my lesson with Auburn football to never get excited. It just leaves you heartbroken, which is what I am right now. Just stunned. Hats off to Yale.

Aden needs either for his 3 game to get going or he needs to be able to drive and finish at the hoop. Right now he can distribute the ball but that's about it. If I were the opposing team I would not worry about collapsing on him if he drives. He just can not finish right now.

I think that is where things are coming apart. When you include the entire years worth of work a 4 seed looks about right. However, since SC game on and especially since the UK game we look like a top team that nobody wants to see. Once you take out the SEC tournament and include loss at Bama, Ms St, App St, UTk and UK at home you can see why we did not climb the ladder. Should the tournament matter? In the years we do well yes, and the ones we don't, no. 😂

You did not imagine that. I saw it as well and is why I'm shocked to have a low 4 seed. Had that graphic not come up, I would have expected what we got.

That's the only bad news. Will be a home game for Uconn. I think I will book a flight and a room. We Gotta show up.

I have not read this thread but I can guess what all is being said. There were some bad calls but that's part of the game. We do not need to play the victim card. We simply lost the game. We had a 17-point lead halfway through the 2nd half. The opportunity to win the game was there and we didn't. Really need to pick it up and win at home against a UT team that is missing their starting PG.

20 wins is the mark for me. Can we get there?

We need someone that can make 30+% of them.
