Solid hire, IMO. We needed a guy who can develop the QB's and this guy fits that role. I also like the fact he runs a balanced O.

The Yanks have been playing well. I hate it, but you have to hand it to the old dudes. A-Rod and Texeira are having great years. McCann is having a pretty good year also. C.C. pitched a gem the other night. That was nice to see. Looking like is setting up to be some great end of season playoff races.

Yeah, I really didn't want to do it, but I thought he was the best option left in the 23rd round. I had to go take a shower afterwards. He went 1-2 with a walk today. I will take it. Yeah, it's ridiculous. The last three Cy Young's on one staff? They became my favorite to win it all when they got Price. They have a solid O, but to face those three in a seven game series is murderers row. Add in Anibal Sanchez and Porcello, who are no slouches, and that is filthy nasty. Unless their bats get Braves cold in the playoffs, I don't see a team that can beat them.
